Set up their RSS feeds and watch it. I got 2 Wiis for UNDER cost. One was from a kid bored with it selling it for a new BMX bike. No box, but everything was there plus 3-4 extra games $250 cash. Cheaper than if taxed in Illinois.
The second one... was an amazing find. Wii 2 Full controllers (Not 4 controllers!!!! 2 nunchucks + 2 controllers as advertised everywhere else) 5 games Rechargeable battery packs AND charger. Component video.
All for $300. Foreign student moving back to his homeland. I e-mailed him with in 10 minutes of it being listed. I haven't added everything up but it looks like $450 worth of stuff no tax for $300. One's going to my brother one I'm keeping.
This in the same are that I can't find one at any walmart anywhere. Where I've seen people selling them on Craig's list for $600 with 4 controllers [sic] (2 controllers 2 nunchucks] 10 games [Wii sports + Wii Play added together] etc.
For kicks I setup an auction exactly like the one I bought, in downtown chicago, same price.
5 e-mails in 6 hours.
The thing driving up prices is everyone seeing the prices being driven up which when they get their, they list it for $10 more...
Tell the difference between encrypted traffic? I'm sure the NSA would love to have a talk with the company that is selling that.
If they discover our 128bit key, we'll use a 256, 512, 1024... If set up right there is absolutely no way to tell the difference between encrypted BT and encrypted anything else. That's the point IT'S ENCRYPTED.
Granted it doesn't work with this DRM crap. But ccxstream + XBMC the best home media setup I've seen out of anyone's house. Toss in TVShows.app (Mac) + rtorrent and I like it better than Tivo. (I never shift my media by 30 minutes to skip commercials, usually I catch it the next night, so this works perfectly.)
Once they get it ported to Linux so that it'll do HD, hands down the best player anywhere.
Granted it won't work with this DRM crap, but that's on their end, not mine.
278 page, 1.1 MB. Looks the same on my Mac as it does on a Linux machine as it does on Windows machine as it does on a reader that supports PDF as it does on the printer.

Apple relies on Quartz and other built CoreImages to do their PDF rendering. So it works very well under OSX. They'd have to port everything to Windows first. Then you'd end up with a 90 MB "Preview.exe".

Second. Politicians AND citizens seem to have forgotten who is boss. I don't work to serve a politician, a politician lives to serve me. If my boss walks into my office and says "You worthless piece of shit. You're useless. Get out and don't come back." I can't sue him. (Assuming he didn't come on to me, blah blah). I don't have a contract with my company. If at an annual performance review I'm told that I suck. I have to take it. I can't sue him because he doesn't think I'm doing my job right or he's critical of my job. I WORK FOR HIM.

I'd love to compare the results. Until a 3rd service is available, you really won't be able to see who's "right". I mean say they both say completely different things. Did they screw up the lab work? Did they just test different markers? Etc.
They have a contract with Apple for the 'iPhone'. Jobs is known for his unpredictable behavior after other companies do this to him. He had ALL ATI graphics cards pulled from MacWorld because of a slip like this.
I agree with you. What if it's not called the 'iPhone'? What if Apple spins off a wholly owned subsidiary (Like Claris) and sells an iPhone through that route? I'm sure Jobs has some tricky little out built into the contract.
"Ok. You wanted 5 years exclusive for the iPhone? Ok, we're never making a product update again." So at the end of 5 years the iPhone is still selling identical to how we see it today and Apple's pushing the aPhone on the Verizon/Google network.

A ton of people are up in arms blaming dreamhost. It seems that 90% of the people there are forwarding all their e-mail to gmail. I don't know why they don't use their own client or Google Apps. And they're complaining to HD that it's entirely their fault and they don't understand why it happened in the first place.
I was doing a catchall->gmail->myuser. This way gmail filtered all my spam but I also got to use dreamhost. But given this current issue I'm going to try out Google Apps.
I thought it was all or none. I guess you can set up JUST e-mail (I'm using calendar too though). You have to change your MX servers at Dreamhost. Coupled with IMAP access, this should work for me.
You don't, you divide it into 'learning' steps. This is the 'shotgun' approach. To learning. Imagine if you have a few billion of your species and everyone had to do the samething, but everyone did it different. You'd have a billion different methods. Studies have shown that bees can teach other bees where honey is by dancing. Why couldn't, on some basic level, a Wasp teach another wasp how to do something.
If those wasps each taught 2 wasps, etc you could have taught the entire population in no time. Toss on a few thousand years of experience by how ever many wasps exist per year and you have monkeys at typewriters writing Shakespeare.
How do we know that this development didn't happen in the last 50 or 100 years? What would be interesting is studying wasps in remote areas like Australia where they couldn't have learned from the rest of the populous.

RIAA Gives you X Budget to make your album go platinum. In the day you blew this budget on a sweet album cover. You're not going to hire a 3rd grade class to do it, you're probably going to hire a photographer/artist.
Now days music videos sell music. If tomorrow someone invented a technology where you could put a microchip on your forehead and 'experience' the CD and they bundled it with your CD, I bet music video budget would drop off.
The "Art" is still around. It's just now a Music Video.
Music Videos are an 'extra' on top of the song just like the album art was back in the day. They're big money now. Directors, full sets, etc.
Sure most suck and depending on your genre it may just be some women scantily clad, but every so often there's one that I watch than I just think "Wow. That's cool".

Google needs to sell/service their spam detection service. I've gotten 100 spam e-mail messages since noon and 0 false positives or negatives. The only problem is I like to host my own e-mail (well at Dreamhost). Recently Gmail greylisted Dreamhost because of people using catchalls and forwarding their e-mail (making it look like Dreamhost was spamming).
I would PAY MONEY for something like a spamassasin plugin with subscription. Currently SA still has a worse record than Gmail but it's about the only thing I can use on my own. I may end up going back to forwarding to G-mail just because of how awesome their detection is.

Which is why I'm probably attracted to the females on the other end of the spectrum, more towards the creative side. (I have absolutely 0 musical or painting talent.) I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a polymath (You can sew?!) so hopefully between the two of us we can figure something out that the kid likes. I also wasn't planning on starting with timing belt changes on my car. Simple things like colors. Then again I'm simply entertained and love kids. And I doubt the kid will have a shorter attention span than my ADHD adult mind:)

Quite a bit more than you think. Thats 4 years of your life. It's what most people complete college in. Look at what skills a College grad has that a HS grad doesn't. I'm not saying that nature doesn't have a bit to play in it. If you coddle kids they don't pick up skills. It's simple. Play a kid music every day of his life. When they're two give them a piano. Let them pound the hell out of it every single day. You don't think after 2 years of pounding on something you'd be able to put together something intelligent? Heck even most adults with no musical talent could put something together in 2 years. Not to mention that between 0 and 10 or so you learn faster/better than afterwards.
Sounds like you have. Sometimes the most complex answer is the simplest.
I still haven't quite figured it out yet.
Both of our parents pressed us to be smart and good at our studies when we were younger, read to us and with us early, and did their best to help us do what we wanted to do.
