They've got 'em in Philly already--either on the Broad Street subway line, or the PATCO PA/NJ speed line. The one I saw was for Dasani water, and was pretty cool. It reminded me of the toys that would come in Cracker-Jack boxes where at one angle you'd have one picture, at another, another picture.
In addition to the subject at hand--are there any recomendations for car-based mp3 head units? The Empeg was quite nice--but expensive. Aiwa makes a unit that plays MP3's from CD-R's, but I've heard horrors about it. Has anyone had experience with an mp3 head unit that isn't rumoured to suck?
Even though the Linux community is fortunate enough to recompile for the P4, other communities don't have the luxury to recompile if needed. You'd be stuck with what you get out of the box.
.. but seriously. We talked about it here--management wanted all Microsoft in-house--that was, until Exchange and Outlook was hit by the infamous Melissa. The 'rumours' they heard of outlook e-mail born virii were proven to be true every time they watched the news, read a paper, etc.
Actually, this service was tested in Philadelphia about a year ago. I'm not too sure which cell company sponsored it (Bell, AT&T, etc), but they were promoting the hell out of it on the radio. The only problem was that in order to use the *xy service, you had to be a member of their service. IE, an AT&T wireless customer couldn't use it if Bell sponsored the *xy service. If I recall correctly, it disappeared due to lack of funds..*Shrugs*
Yello-- I work in Glendora, and a fellow coworker (who lives in Blackwood) of mine said her service was aweful. Outages, lack of DNS, etc. Last I heard, she was getting ready to go DSL.
It's funny when NetCraft reports the site as "firstgov.gov is running Microsoft-IIS/4.0 on NT4 or Windows 98" when Reno is so up in arms about alternatives to Microsoft software.

What about Buzz, the LGM's, and the rest of the Toy Story crew? Oh wait.
Nah, but seriously. It's nice to see another distribution without necessarily the weight of a Red Hat continuing on.

Not to be a prick, because I'd love to have 80 million people against this, but how many of those 80 million are probably of voting age?

They'd probably include a special ingrediant, that when you attempt to replicate, the outcome has a distinct, undrinkable, funny taste.

Maybe Sun is just jealous because Microsoft is going to get .NET going before Jini gets anywhere (with it's 2? year advantage!)
