The problem is you come on nearly every game post - games that are windows only - and then whine about it not playing on your nerd box.
You are right up there with people who go and post on MMORPG stories that you'd never pay an ongoing fee / up front fee / whatever your complaint is with the payment system.
You may be right. I was just trying to paint a picture using memes and for some reason I decided to throw Ham Radio in there.
I am sure there are some lefties who are Ham Radio operators, but I am confident that if you took a poll of them, they would lean heavily to the right. Mostly engineering types - a consistent right wing constituency.
This isn't really a battle over Habeus Corpus versus PL 107-40/Article 1/etc. These two Constitutional provisions do overlap - there does exist a seeming contradiction in the law. The US Congress has not yet seemed to rectify this, and they are the only people who can. None of this is actually about what the law is because the law is clearly contradictory. Same for the wiretapping of incoming calls (though I think the left's case on that one is far weaker).
What this battle is about is a proxy fight over whether you are an evil, culture-of-death, W hating liberal whore or a right wing fascist Rush-Limbaugh obeying sexually repressed Ham-Radio nutjob.
(See? I used each sides description of the other to avoid appearing partisan and not get hit with a 'flamebait' mod.)
Blizzard is good for micromanaging. Age of Empire was good for huge wars and economic games. TA was for downright fighting and it seemed to me that C&C was going for the TA feel but never achieved it.
I recall, however, that this was the same situation as with the last round. PS2 with custom parts and Xbox with commodity. But Sony was able to bring their costs down a lot more than the Xbox.
How would this not be different? Your Jap Zero analogy does not hold AT ALL.
Yeah, I guess you have a point. I am playing a different game now - 'chase the benjamins' and 'be a decent athlete.' It is far more rewarding than the other games out there though it doesn't deliver the same immediate gratification on demand.
Trust me, you will probably curse yourself one day for the time spent on the games when you could have been working out or growing a business. And it sounds like you are going down the 'work harder, not smarter' route.
I am still single but I have gotten involves in amateur athletics and started my own company. Before all this started, I could come home from work and play an MMORPG, an Xbox game, or a PC shooter with a mate until I fell asleep. Weekends were pure game time. I ran a guild in one with over 1000 people at one point. Serious time comitment.
Now, it has all changed. I got a 360 at the beginning of the month. I think I have played it a total of 3 hours. I have not played any PC games that I use to. I barely am able to log into Eve just to make sure I am still training something.
It's called growing up. I really do wish I could blow a few days in Battlefield2, and maybe in the future I will try to work that in. But right now, I just do a little Geometry Wars before bed (the demo version) or Blazing Angels demo (a lot of fun, that one).

Seriously. Not news. All the orgasms over the Ron Moore speech have long since climaxed - like in the week of the conference or the week after, latest.

Sorry, but you have used an invalid meme on this site. Please refrain from cross-contaminating memes from other, lesser sites and, instead, re-inforce the established Slashdot memes such as:
In Soviet Russia.. A + B = Profit Beowulf Cluster of X Hot Grits Natalie Portman 'Micro$oft' Etc.
I was preparing to make a similar concept. I'm surprised no one here listed what really happened with China - the Chicom government has REQUIRED that every machine that goes out of a factory door in China have a LISCENSED OPERATING SYSTEM installed. Three of the major makers, including Lenova - new owners of the thinkpad line - are taking the lead in compliance.
I played Hitman 2 on the Xbox and absolutly loved it. The AI needed work, the execution needed work, the graphics needed work - needed the kind of Splinter Cell quality added to it. But the CONCEPT just rocks the socks. This is the kind of game you really hope they can get just right.
I've still heard nightmares about it. And why would I want to buy one on the Xbox 360? That was the last time I bought something there and they would not shut up about trying to sell it to me.

You just don't add anything to the conversation.
Just becase we're CollecoVision gamers doesn't mean we need to lower our standards.
You are an irrelevant ass. Why do you post on these threads?
Leave it to Zonk to get the slashherd spooked for nothing.
Nothing to see here. Move along. Go back to your tentacle pr0n and doughnuts.p

This device still doesn't match the HP Ipaq 6515. No built-in GPS, no MS Office, and it will probably be bigger than the Ipaq.
Yeah, I know, but that's not important because what the game was 'reaching for' is not relevant to when it came out. TA achieved what C&C did not.
Blizzard is good for micromanaging. Age of Empire was good for huge wars and economic games. TA was for downright fighting and it seemed to me that C&C was going for the TA feel but never achieved it.
And I don't think it would break timing of anything. It's just technically slightly faster - the real key is the chip is cheaper to fab.
If you can get a cheaper processor that uses less energy and install it into your console even though you've already shipped a million or so, why not?
How would this not be different? Your Jap Zero analogy does not hold AT ALL.
Most important to you now is diet. South Beach or Atkins. No alcohol.
Maybe look into some races or sign up from a marathon that is 6 months away. Good luck.

Nah - Asheron's Call.

You're welcome.
In Soviet Russia..
A + B = Profit
Beowulf Cluster of X
Hot Grits
Natalie Portman
'Micro$oft'
Etc.
Thanks.
How do you see the US Gov getting this done?
The pigs are walking upright.

Did you just say 'spiff'??? What is that?

Under 50Mb for nearly all I've seen. Some of the demos has weighed in at 600-700 Mb as have some of the videos.
I was especially disappointed to learn that Blizzard also shut down the Super Adventure Club's guild!
