    O, cripes.

    The space shuttle only lifts 55,000 lbs. The Russian Cosmos rocket catapaults 250,000 lbs into orbit in one shot--AND they have lots of automation to boot.

Until electronics is based upon something other than the laws of phyisics, premium hardware will make a difference. Given that most people--and this is fine, they're consumers and busy with other things--buy electronics based on a price: colour ratio,they will tend to buy junk. What's not okay is that they're surprized. The thing that's maddening is that most of the sound electronics that is marked 'hi-fi' actually isn't. Grrrr.
