Given that most people--and this is fine, they're consumers and busy with other things--buy electronics based on a price: colour ratio,they will tend to buy junk. What's not okay is that they're surprized.
The thing that's maddening is that most of the sound electronics that is marked 'hi-fi' actually isn't.
