He modified, freely available, open-source code, that hadn't had any attempt at being obfuscated made upon it; whoop-dee-freaking-doo.
I very very much doubt google gives a flying stuff about this patch, and if you actually read the code you would see it's no attempt at DRM at all.
In fact I'm not even sure why google bothered to make it so as to only be able to view videos from their domain, hardly hurting them for people to be using a plugin they developed to view other peoples video, just gets people more used to the google brandname.
christ almighty, I'm just guessing here but I get the feeling you don't really have any freakin idea what Japan was like in 1945.. They were led by an EMPEROR ffs! They didn't have much say in the matter.
Do you blame civillian iraqi's for the gassing of the kurds? Is it the cambodians fault that pol pot slaughtered them? Hey, obviously neither stood up enough to stop it.
jesus.. every time I read this, and it seems to be a something that doesn't want to go down, I can't help but wonder how DIFFERENTLY America must teach history compared to Australia.
Then again history is written by the winners right?
Proven wrong with one statement; People download tv shows.
TV Shows, even those that are broadcast first in the US, free-to-air, in HD, are still downloaded by people in the US! Kinda destroy's the whole "They do it because they don't have to pay for it then" argument completely doesn't it?
As for me, I download tv shows for two reasons, because I really don't feel like waiting the 6 months for Australian tv to catch up (with longer ad-breaks than you get, and for the case of a show like "Deadwood" may not get to watch at all), and I also really enoy the convenience of having it in a simple format on my computer.
probably not subjective, being that in everyday desktop usage, you are always going to be running more than one app at once. And if they're completely different processes, they will be shared between the CPU's well, hence more responsive.
the multithreaded thing comes into play when you have one app that you need to go ueber fast, you'll find on your MP system that if you run a game it will use 100% of one CPU and 0% of the other, this is what people mean by needing a multithreaded environment.
wow... just.. sorry, but that was such a dumb comment. If your opponent has lower latency than you then they see you first, ie going round corners and stuff..
interesting article on whirlpool atm about a new device that telstra are looking at that will extend adsl 1 an extra 20km, i'm sure could help you.
esp since if telstra can extend it like that, then iinet and the independant isp's can extend it to 40km at adsl 2 speeds;)
first two things i searched on the new engine, betterontoast and seriouslogic, didn't come up with their official dns registered pages. www.seriouslogic.com and www.betterontoast.com (these are real). I found this rather strange and brings into question the size of the msn cache.
the point is these gravitational forces don't all just suddenly add together and become stronger.. they were all acting on it from the start, just that as it gets further and further away, the angles at which each individual object is pulling it becomes much more similar.
however it still becomes less by the distance squared, meaning that it should never ever have an increase in the gravitational force pulling it back into our system.
wow.. you must feel amazing, being so much more powerful than us.. little Australia.. with ONE FIFTEENTH OF YOUR POPULATION, and has been around as a nation for what..? off the top of my head 100 years less..
note to all americans with this guys attitude... get your head out of your arse before you suffocate.
heh, I suppose you're right, i'm just annoyed because I'm actually interested and can't manage to download anything >:(
Everyone who follows the link will be trying to download a 4.4mb pdf from one single server.
/.??
Did NOBODY think a few mirrors would be apropriate before putting it up on
infrared means that it's reading the vein pattern via the heat emitted by the blood flowing through them. I've never seen a "picture" that emits heat.
just a quick question.. do you know what infrared means?

wow.. completely absoloutely irrelevant to what I had to say, but other than that yeah you're right

maybe it could just suck all the fun out of life...
Now come ON!
Don't we all know the answer to this yet??
After years of the same pattern we certainly should.
They'll make a better one by COPYING that app that's been
refined over 20 years and adding pretty colours!

A real picture from a poster in a train station in america apparently...
Hmmm...

... thanks ed, sure bet my housemates appreciated the sudden and stupidly loud "JUICEBOX!" at 4.28AM
that's ok, now you can just blame all your problems on genetics ;-)
actually it's $1.40 USD...

completely missed the point... They're talking about a thin client OS, not a 'lite' version of windows.

I mean, that's pretty obvious really isn't it?

bloody hell, obviously it's so that when we do want the odd movie, we can get it quicker, jesus.

Not to mention everyone knows PC games are better to play :P
Hell, consoles don't even have the Total War series :|
