It is interesting to see how the political spectrum really comes full circle in the most extremes. The extreme Left believes that there should be no government because the would make a distant class (those in the government and those not) while the extreme Right blevs in power being transferred from the fedarel government to state to county (using a US model of internal political division) and evently to the indviul. so in the end both extreme what the very same thing for very deterrent reasons. Well something to think about anyway

I do not believe that a government type should be judge on how fast it can take a country from poverty or lack of power to wealth and power ignoring other factors such as how it treats the people or how long lasting it is, to use an analogy a drug (illegal eg.pcp) can hive you great amounts of enegery very quickly but it will claps in a short amount of time and it causes bad side effects in your body. If speed that a govement can take a country to power from lack of it is a good measure of effectiveness then the Nazi govermen is the ideal form of government, this is ovusly not true because of other factors such as stability and the way the it treats the people so like the Nazis, Communists may be able to improve the economic condition of and country but it is not a myth that it is ineffective for other factors.
I like a monlithic kernel for the most part. I do compile my sound card drivers am modules but that is mostly because I am lazy and like red hat to configure that. I guess if you need alot of things enabled then modules would be realy uesful such as filesystems that you do not ues that ofen. I have never had that size problem then agen I do not have that many things enabled. Any way what I had intended to saw is I lernd to compile a kernel in the first week or so of uesing Linux and I did not find it that hard.
well I am a Linux user and would try to crack the Linux box,(Not that I have the skill to crack ether) mainly becaus there is no insentive to crack the W2K box other then to prove that it can be done. I think that many linux ueser (including me:) ) are cheap and the chance to win a computer will make shure that the "Linux box is really getting a fare shake"

If that test was done months ago and this is the first we here of it that seem to validate rendus's point.
