What do you mean by this "3dfx is a lot better"? do you mean the Glide or D3D with the 3dfx drivers. Colors being messed up is uesly a problem with the drivers gamma correction not the API. I have not tryed it but I have heared that the OpenGL implmation in the 3dfx driver is not that good?
The Jacobin regime in France tried to implement metric time (I think they were the ones that tried to use it on a large scale, you can correct me if I am wrong it's been some time since I studied history). In any event it was so confusing to the people and it messed up scedulation so they were forced to switch back. It is an interesting idea thoe but I think it will never catch on.
You want a list of other good GUI: OS/2 MacOS BeOS KDE GNOME I will give you that Windows has some innovative ideas(not many) but it is in no way revolutionary.
Good day, This is a bit off topic but it deals with DoubleClick. I run port sentry on my home network(on a linux box that is acts as a proxy uesing Socks) any way port sentry logs any one that tyrs to connect to me and on several ocation I have noted that some IP that is regersted with DoubleClick will try to connect to port 7 (echo port), they start at about 1:00amCST and go till 3 or 4am some time up to 200 trys a night. I do not have any logs of this anymore (I think I sent it to them once never herd back) has any one seen this type of thing befor??
I am very intersted in AI and I think that your progect is probly a good thing, BUT if you keep addvertising it like this you will put a lot of people off of joining.
If the key was in the part that had to be redone then I wonder when we would have found it had it been ok the first go? oh well they got it now and that is the important part.
I might be even more off that you but I think what he was asking is if the glow sticks uesed a organic or non-organic reaction since both can be called chemecal reaction. all organic reactions are chemecal reactions but not all chemecal reacations asr organic.

I thought that I read that SGI was going to be moving more over to linux and in the end phase out irix, Of corse I could have just been dreeming that. But I know that they are oping xfs and some of there fine gran locking stuff this year.
Well this may be a bit off topic but, Dose anyone know when GeForce 256 will be supported by freeX86 . nVida relased the TNT and TNT2 drivers so maby hope in near.

Well it is 0025 UTC and every thing seem ok. The net is up, power is on, I do not see any ICBMs over head. Well I think that a congradulating is in order to all the people that spent many many houres and ever years working so that this roll over could go as somthly as it did good job.
Well I just wanted to wish all my fellow nerds a good time in the new "20" date prefix:)

Ok I might be compleatly off but I thought that White must be first and therfor 1W 2B 3W 4B 5W so the fith move must be white. Now this is far to simplitiscic(sp?) to be right so I must have over looked somthing or read somthing wrong in any event could some one tell me why the fith move could be black. Thanks
