This will inevitably drive the price of the other plextor dvd burners(708a, 504a, etc) and subsequently other 8x burners down, i'll take that. Can't beat plextor quality especially when the price will drop a bit. I'll be perfectly happy with a 8x burner.
Hey... don't knock the uphill both way thing. I am going to school and I actually do have to walk to class up hill both way. I attend the University of Wisconsin, for those you familiar with the campus you no doubt have heard of Bascom Hill as it occupies a majority of our campus. Unforunately I live on one side of the hill and the majority of my classes are on the otherside. Also it gets pretty cold here and snows alot, so that whole statement that your parents always use when you complain about school is actually true for me.
anyone else picture Bill Murray and Harold Ramis driving this in Czechoslovakia?
"Come on, it's Czechoslovakia. We zip in, we pick 'em up, we zip right out again. We're not going to Moscow. It's Czechoslovakia, it's like going into Wisconsin." "Well, I got the sh** kicked out of me in Wisconsin once. Forget it. "
I'm not sure about this one so much. Anyone catch Johnny Mnemonic.... yeah it kinda speaks for itself. Although Neuromancer is much much better than Mnemonic. For some reason i think Colin Farrel would make a nice Case.
I'm just kinda curious why these things always get tested in some area where people can actually afford CD's all the time. I mean if you can afford to go to Princeton I think you can buy the latest N'Sync CD.
Why don't they try this at a large public university where a majority of the students receive financial aid?
Damn't I knew I should have listened to that Jerry O'Connell character when I had the chance. I don't about you guys but I'm not so sure about this I mean that would make a man called Maximillian Arturo right. What kind of a name is that anyway?
I do understand this but I was referring to the orginal formation of RCA by the various patent holders of the time. They came together to form standards in the radio broadcasting and reception field.
Have you ever heard of RCA? a company formed from several different American companies to standardize radio broadcasting and reception. Or the maybe the NTSC you know the National Televison Systems commitee, the one responsible for the television broadcasting standards in America?
Just Checking.

From one of the blogs
"Professor Edward Castronova placed Norrath (the virtual world of Everquest) as the 77th richest world economy, based on the value of the items in the world adjusted to their value in then-current Ebay auctions."
hmmmm.... I wonder where France is?

I don't know how many of you use Outlook, but if you do check out Giant Company This prog works wonders for me. It filters all your email via its predefined filters, so you don't have to come up with your own filters. Prior to using this I would receieve 300+ articles of spam a day to my inbox, now maybe one slips through if its lucky.

As it seems the MIT site is slowly being slashdotted... here is a different site with a demonstration video.

This plan is clearly wrong. There is no mention of stealing underpants anywhere. How can you expect to make a profit without stealing underpants.
