NASA's problems come from two places. 1) Congresses ignorance in understanding what it takes to run a space program. 2) NASA's inability to educate Congress to what is needed to run a space program, and what you can get out of it.

I was thinking that maybe they could get a little more battery life if they used a LEP display insted of the regular LED. And since they are suppose to be using LEP displays on call phones there, at least I heard that a couple of Cell companies where going to try them on their cell phones.

Personal I thought that the public has already lost its confidence in NASA. If you want NASA to continue what needs to be done is get rid of everyone one in charge of NASA and get a bunch of ppl straight out of University who haven't been told that they can't do it. Then watch them do it.

Well I guess this mean the end to original Sci-Fi on tv. Its just about makes me want to stop watching tv all together. And there just doesn't seem to be a thing that real sci-fi fans can do about it these days.

  8. V why oh why on "V" Sequel Coming to NBC · · Score: 1

Don't get me wrong the two mini series done where quite good for their time, but the attempt at the V TV series just suck. One of the things that bugged me was that they changed the fact that the Aliens sounded human, and since we all new what they looked like why keep up with the human masks? I think that the only reason that I watch it was because there just wasn't anything better on at the time. Personally I'd rather see something new on tv, or at least get such shows like FireFly, Crusades, or Legend of the Rangers back on the air.

Well Apple has been having trouble with its power supplies for their desktops for a couple of years now. It's not so much Apples fault as it is the manufacture of the power supplies that Apple uses. You would think though that Apple would find a better source though.
Still I look forward to getting a G5 when they come out.

Having a small population with the same of good genes only goes so far, you also have to take into account recessive genes as well. and with in a small population these recessive gene can become the dominate gene, and here is where you can run in to problem. One of the biggest is an increase of birth defects, other hereditary disease, and a shortaning of life expecance. I only know of one case that a single species that is till around to day that came back from extinction from a single pregnant female. But there is still one other thing that we all seem to be for getting "Dolly", she had to be put down because of permature aging. How can we try to bring back and species when we know that the generation that we are able to produce will have to start a shortend life span. We also have know idea how make of the extinct species raised their young, or the conditons that are needed to have the clones to be successfull produced.
