Have you ever used SonicStage? My goodness, that's reason enough not to want this.
Any device that claims to be removable storage should act as so. I shouldn't be forced into using an application to dump files onto it, the OS should recognize said device as a drive by default. Anything else is a waste of time.
Now don't get me wrong, I loved the MiniDisc format back when the only alternatives were flash based 32MB MP3 players. But these days, they're so far behind... It's just silly.
Final Fantasy VIII:
I know Final Fantasy VII was overrated for what it was, but at least it was fun. Final Fantasy VIII's hype was legendary.
It started off being the first Final Fantasy with proportional characters, to being a life changing event when it was released. Received near perfect scores in most gaming mags, that within a year began to pan it as if it were the cool thing to do.
Grand Theft Auto III/Vice City:
You take away the fact that it's dealing with "Mature" themes and what are you left with? The graphics are piss poor, the gameplay is shoddy, and above all the game just gets boring.
Metal Gear Solid II:
Metal Gear Solid was a standout title for the PSX, on the PS2 it was just another espionage game. Amazing how being on the shelf for so long tarnishes the WOW factor. Really now, organisms in the White House you say?
Taken from one of the aforementioned Bittorrent repositories that apparently have an amazing rip of Reloaded:
"Where did all the bittorrents GO?" I know this is the question in all of your minds. . . . well, blame the media. . . . BBC has reported a completely bogus story about the pirateing of Matrix Reloaded. ..
This has caused alot of panic in the BT community. . . even though most of the story is just made up. . . and NO, there is no version of the Matrix Reloaded that is the quality that this story claims. . . so dont ask. . . We will stay online for as long as possible, everyone is keeping there heads low at the moment. . . . We hope the whole community can pull though. . . . wish us luck."
Apparently after the/. story was posted the D/L services provided by http://www.torrentfiles.com/ were taken down.

Everyone keeps talking about how this is all about ads, what about users that transfer recorded television from their TiVo to other devices? Wouldn't this render such an act impossible? Or at least incredibly illegal?
Just thought I should chime in, I saw Millenium Actress at the Big Apple Anime Fest in NYC last summer and my god was it amazing.
Dreamworks ended up picking up the distribution rights and hinted at a 2004 release, so hopefully if all goes well we'll be seeing some sort of nationwide release in a year.
The Japanese DVD though is available if you look hard enough.:)
