50 years ago is 1965. When did global warming start? Not then, not even after WW II which caused a huge mount of CO2 from human carbon units.
Tax'em more types never did explain why Mars polar caps melted some. But this Asteroid could have slowed down earth's rotation around the sun and the orbit around the sun dropped ever so slightly as it was trapped into orbit. But hey, tax us more could not tax heads or food, so tax the CO2 to make food for the overpopulated planet. ANY added mass requires a math cleanup of assumptions of orbits.
Food for thought, but in the end, we are only here for the ride on planet earth. Be a good place for aliens to watch us barbarian backwards humans from. I figure aliens would not want us polluting their culture as the would certainly be more evolved and rational than us as a species.
Protectionism taxing American business just drives up costs and makes them less competitive.
Better find a better solution. As protectionism on a country level is like a snake eating its own tail. The more you protect, the more uncompetative the nation becomes. How many offices will buy furniture at say $20,000 for a basic metal desk and chair, then be able to compete?
Its why the existing protectionism taxes for rich and unions is not working. A Chinese or Indian can buy a nice car for only $10,000, pay less than half to maintain it, thus they can work for less. Cannot keep inflating the economics with debt, false hope, BS, higher costs of government.
But hey, some career government glass house mentality types have a lye for ya. False hope for a vote. And over $9 trillion of added debt to support with little benefiting the main stream middle class. Ya, government is working hard, but not business/job smart. Working hard doing the wrong things as the wrong things are not politically correct/corrupt enough.
Bingo. Its about over paid executives, employment costs, cost of living with $9 trillion more ObamaDebt, more ClintonDebt a coming. Obama care, local utility, steel, supply costs... combined with poor costly designs.
Clinton is clueless glass house career government does not have the solution, nether does Sanders. Trump is only half right, Chinese are more efficient, economical and include value as part of quality. They are lean, efficient and effective. Something America once had and lost. With debt inflating the economy, Americans can't compete. And its not the workers fault, its the corruption of government thinking debt is free. Its not, just how and who pays for it. $19 trillion of virtual worthless money drives up costs.
Trump is right in that Americans paying 70% for NATO, feeding a ever increasing government bloat, wasteful wars with a WW II mentality, sending money to nations like Pakistan, Ukraine to feed corruption and in Pakistan case, unlike Iran, they reall do have nkes. But few will ask corruption politicians about political posturing that makes no sense. Ruin countries like Syria, trying to overthrow ELECTED Assad, while funneling defense support to dictator Saudi. Wake up people, ISIS butchers are carrying Obama/Hillary purchased weapons!!!
And you pay in debt, taxes, dysfunctional government. And why I like Trump. Trump will shake it up. As Wall Street buys politicians and look the next step and see who the big depositors are...dare ya.
As a Canadian too, you do not tax much on Canadian beef heading to the USA. But up to 234% taxes and fees on American beef going north. What a crappy deal Clinton and lobby driven politics gave America. Pretty one sided right? Gets worse too, INS gives green cards to illegals easier than the lawyer legal method for Canadians, but that another story.
Political correctness is double talk for political corruption. This is a lot more complex than "blame the Chinese" mentality. Protectionism is really a tax on people trying to compete. If an office costs 5 times as much, makes your companies less competative. Someone let it happen. And to borrow from Einstein...
Insanity: Voting the same way for the same idiots a lying, expecting better results.
Blaming capitalism is stupid. US govmint is so far in debt, below inflation returns it has to create thin air money (QE electronic counterfeit) to buy its own debt in the ruse of solvency. No legitimate lenders is lending Obama the trillion+ per year.
Capitalism is doing just what your bankrupt govmint wants, bad credit, cannot pay, no job, can't save, no problem, we have a loan for you in the modern debt fraud economy of corruption.
And dumb founded people wonder why the economy is lousy. Yet media, politicians and so called experts do not disclose the devaluation of US money to the rest of the world. Pull up a 10 year chart, compare the Chinese Yuan to USD, as USA, your being devalued for debt corruption, govmint fraud on currency, and losing value.
Stars create water when they blow up, super nova etc. Our sun does NOT create water (yet). Perhaps in 4 billion years when our sun exhausts hydrogen and helium...it might.
Our solar system is for the most part comprised of mater created 4.5 billion years ago or earlier. Perhaps a supernova some 6-10 billion years go left hydrogen, helium, all the periodic elements we see today. Rocks, asteroids, meteors, all remnants of whatever happened before 4.5 billion years ago as our solar system formed.
My guess, is *most* as in 90%+ water came from long ago, oort cloud gets disturbed by a passing star, next thing you know our planets get chunks of ice for a million years or so. And how earth got most of its water, from space mater as our planets formed, then later via meteors and comets.
So much for fighting for freedom of speech and American values..
Seems to me that perhaps the US military is protecting a country that is against human rights and against freedom of speech.
But I am sure this article is trolling. I say this as I can't believe a US warship doesn't already have encrypted Internet channels back to DC. Sounds like a hoax.
Easiest way is for getting a world phone with data capabilities and don't use the local fascist government repression of the peoples systems.
First, you have to prove it was mankind and is harmful. Let me toss some facts:
Recent melting glaciers in BC contain trees only 7600 years old. This means the ice isn't long time permanent. Be you creationist or evolutionist man survived and multiplied well 7600 years ago with a warmer climate. Most of the antarctic and arctic ice is recent ice as in less than 10,000 years old. Human species evolved when it was warmer.
Mars polar caps, Io ice melts, my SUT did it? Hm, prove it. There is a stellar component and tax-me-more eco freaks ignore the obvious. Ignore sunspots and stellar activities? Come now. Seelctive science is generally junk science.
Hey, I will not even argue warming exists!!! But is it bad to have say NWT turn into farm-able and livable land? Or ferns to grow again on the north slope of Alaska?
Let me ask, why does eco junk science always talk of gloom and doom for tax bucks? Yep, it is about the money for most eco freaks, it isn't about empirical unbiased opens science at all. Just political BSing the outlook for fear taxes today. 99% of what we are fed in the media is political jousting in the ruse of science, about money, taxes and power. Pretty hard to sort it out too.
People are getting sick of the BS and shutting down. Be it right or wrong.
They will not bother, US Surpreme court or any is just to slow and it gets leaked to the world.
RCMP and CSIS are above the law. This is more like a ruse to come clean. Wasn't just USA that had McCarthyism. Canada is a statism state, between Saudi and USA. Government in Canada has monitored Canadians without warrants for 5+ decades at least.
Cops here can spy on anyone except the corrupt MPs, judges and the well connected. General population is wide open.
BTW, RCMP only get their man if it is politically approved.
So what? Canada can't even keep out 492 Tamil illegals even when given 30 days notice they are coming.
Maybe the Americans can show Canadian Border Services to do more than collect GST.
I just wish they showed the cars up close afterwards. While both are trashed, it's clear from the video that the A pillar just collapses on the Bel Air and the driver is probably crushed to death. Showing that (or whatever you can film) versus the still mostly intact cockpit of the Malibu would have driven the point home really well.
It isn't really a fair comparison. Years of rust, fatigue, grinding and polishing. The Bel Air is a graceful but very old lady. Then you put it against a newer Malibu is like having a 17 year old go after the 95 year old grandmother. Who do you think will win?
But in any case, pretty safe bet not many of today's Malibu vehicles, if any at all, will make it 51 years in running order. It certainly doesn't have the class.
The repackaging of subprime mortgages into valued securities was one problem but it might not have caused a collapse had the banks not also willingly massively over leveraged - at 30 to 1 it only takes a 3% downturn in the market and your bank is insolvent...
You should be mod-up as insightful.
People conveniently forget that it is government sponsored leverage that started this whole mess for cheap easy debt. And government did it so interest rates could be artificially low, no checks and balances for run-away debt. Because government is the largest default debtor going, over $12T for the US government, many trillions more at the state, county and civic level.
The government does this as not GM, but the US government is in fact the largest defunct debtor out there.
When the families are told by the bank that they will be able to repay the loan and are given very low initial rate, AND the bank knows they will not be able to pay it back, AND the bank knows they will bundle it up the mortgage and sell it off, AND regulators that actually promote this THEN you have banks that are evil, greedy bastards, and you have families that are stupid, and a government that is incompetent, greedy, and stupid.
AND supported by a Democrat Congress and Senate.....for fast easy cheap money the government needs for its liberal debt-corruption spend ponzi scheme.
Hell, the government can't pay it's bills without more debt.
That is why most companies do any crypto work offshore. It avoids this stupid law altogether as it can be freely imported. The result is the best crypto in the world is imported to the US. In fact, I don't trust crypto with origins in the US. You know, NSAKey and all.
How many of these scams and hack originate in the US anyway? Will their customers really have information to share?
Lots actually. If I wanted to hack you my first step is to hack someone in a country where their police can't be bothered to look nor cooperate. Next, I launch the attack on the local USA target using the foreign system as a proxy. Some who do this even work for the same company. I have no way of qualifying this, but I am sure it is a major constituent of "foreign" hack jobs.
More sophisticated hackers might use 2 or more proxies making it a real PITA to chase them. But sloppy ones with savvy security types often get caught. But the savvy hackers, they often never get caught.
The best advice I can say is that never assume the origin of the hack, it could be anywhere. Often command misspellings, names used and packet latency is a better guide but even they are suspect.
that McBride and Co. were involved in a pump and dump scheme.
They did it once, and got away with it. I would also bet too if one looked at non-causal relationships you could find some sleaze motivation in all this. SCOXQ.PK moved up on 15 times volume on a 34.6% gain.
Given the GM dealings to bond holders by the US courts, I would say USA is quickly becoming a corrupt country right out in the open. Where who you know, bribes and favors rule. Between legal extortion, corruption and the threat of higher taxes.... not an attractive place for a new business.
Might be a good time for the CEO of Novell and IBM to get together and ask Obama if this is the future of American business? Then pull out of the USA if it isn't fixed right in 60 days.
Fucking idiot! This has been happening for the last decade, before Obama even came into the picture. The problem is greedy short term investors who drive companies to short term profits over long term profitability and quality. That's what unregulated capitalism does it drives towards the lowest common denominator - fastest profit with the highest cost at the lowest possible quality until a company implodes and can be sold off piece meal in order to put even more profits in the hands of the investors.
I differ, to do business in the US is now too legally complex and too tax expensive. INS is too meddlesome, keeping the good people out... why tolerate it any more? Just like my investments, most of my trades on the NYSE are in companies with a healthy offshore content as with even more liberalism and associate loss of freedoms and more increases in taxation promised there is no way US is going to lead a recovery.
Now if you believe the recession/depression is over, go ahead, the evidence says not with 550,000 job loss in a traditionally good month of July says different.
Americans can compete, but the environment of more bigger expensive dominating government is a load too big to do it. Get the moneys off the workers backs, and recovery will occur. That includes making corporate welfare to banks and GM a federal criminal offense as it should be. Nothing in the constitution says people coast to coast should be subsidizing banks and corporations.
Get the parasites and corruption out of the system and prosperity will return.
Problem is those methods of dropping the weight, also increase the cost (TFA assesses both).
In the case of 3.5" SATA HDDs, that weight/cost should include a storage system that renders all the data available at the same time. 140 Lbs for 48 Hard drives is reasonable.
Off the wall idea but how to store a petabyte for near very few kilos and it scales up. Place mirrors in space, from a satellite fire a laser for 10 light seconds of 1 PB of data into space at the mirror. When it comes back send it out again. While 1 PB goes out, the other PB comes back. Create as many steams you want. Near infinite storage. Only hitch is if the relay loop is broke, there goes the data as your not likely to catch up to it. Next issue is random access is 0 to 20 seconds. That is, use light in outer space.
Second try, I guess Admin/password didn't work.
But can we hack it?
