Just switch the automatic transmission to manual mode - using +1/-1 stick pushes. I haven't seen that in U.S. cheap cars but all EU automatic transmissions have also manual mode.
That "nuclear waste" is rather a fuel for FBRs. Just so far FBRs are not financially viable but in about 50 years when natural uranium gets depleted FBRs will recycle that "nuclear waste" into a new fuel. So there i no need for too much long time storage.

I should have written s/POTS/PSTN/ where 3G is a part of it. Someone could transfer 3G<->SIP/TOX, I am not so sure no one in the world does it.

Bullshit, I call to non-SIP people/businesses via Linphone via SIP via local voocall.cz provider to their cell phones for such a low price I consider it free (USD5/month for me).
International calls to your home country are cheap/free for VoIP using your home country VoIP provider. To call arbitrary countries use Betamax SIP provider with international calls for IIRC USD 5/month. Besides that at least in my home country Skype is 8x more expensive than SIP providers. And no video is an advantage.
It would be more useful to go the opposite way - keep Ubuntu the same, just add QWERTY keyboard to the phone. Otherwise we have to pay for our own phone manufacturing - Neo900.
This is probably the reason why you do not see the crashes. When you reboot often enough the kernel does not rot fast enough. Although I get sudden reboots completely randomly, even after one day, but the sudden reboots may be caused by some hardware/BIOS issue (BIOS updates do not help, Lenovo X220). And after all you may not be messing up with many USB hubs/extenders, rotten flashdisks etc. That one computer does not crash does not prove the kernel is rock solid on every computer. The monolithic (non)design of Linux kernel can never be really stable.
While Linux kernel is solid on servers for whatever reason on desktop it always was crashing and/or required occasional reboots. Flashdisks plugging/unplugging creates allocated un-unmountable devices. Desktop machines just randomly reboot. Screen occasionally goes black or garbage forever (it may be X bug). Keyboard becomes unresponsible. OOM problems where the system locks up or some fundamental process gets killed. etc.
I am just old enough not to be interested in sex anymore so why should I care about relationships? If you call me retarded because I do not want to waste the limited time of my life on something so stupid like sex...
After several such cases one gets a prejudice during any further communication with a girl about software that the technical subject is only a cover and that she in fact has a different goal. Use VoiP provider from your home country and pay only for the local call in your home country. I was calling that way from Japan in 2005.
