EQ and the rest are piece of shit games for twats with no lives, I think they mean the future is gaming is Multiplayer games like Quake/DoomIII where you log into the server kill a bunch of people, follow some objectives and get back to your real life.

If they made a Multiplayer GTA style game that would just destoy the paradigm of current online games. A world where you can chose to do police missions against other people who are playing or to try and rob the bank in a virtual gang! Fuck this AO/DAOC/EQ crap you losers.

I'm finding that the 4x.xx drivers don't work that well with my GForce 440MX the TV-Out is screwy, the best drives for me are 30.82 I wish they would fix that instead of optimizing for pointless benchmarks! I'd rather have a driver that works than one that gives me a bigger 3dMark score!

  12. Will you continue filesharing? on Verizon to Reveal Customers in DMCA Subpoena Case · · Score: 5, Insightful

After hearing this news many people are going to be discouraged by filesharing. This could be the end of people thinking they can get away with it.

    So the implications will be:

    1) People will stop sharing their files and leech

    2) People will stop sharing and move over to services like eMusic/Apple.

    3) Everyone starts using freenet!

The last option sounds the best, its the evolution of Filesharing like Kazaa was after Napster. The more they attack pirates the further underground they push them.

The lab helpdesk guys talk about LAN parties they went to or the new Doom III alpha demo they downloaded (sad really).

Also I occasionally help them fix problems with computers so they have good reason to trust that I wont fuck anything up for them.

Yeah London has got way to many speed cameras! Driving through there is hell...

I live in a city about a tenth of the size of London and its relativly easy to remember where the fixed speed cameras are and just slow down for them.
Slighly more annoying are the mobile speed camera vans which visit about 10 locations a day, you have to check their website every morning to see where they are going to be and either avoid those roads or slow down in those areas but I doubt keeping track of locations in a city the size of London would be easy. It would be interesting to hear how other people deal with cameras both mobile and fixed, post your ordeals!
