I had heard that about VHS being preferred over Beta in the porn industry but also the early adoption of DVD as it was a cheaper, quicker way to get product to market. I had also heard the actresses do not like either of the formats as it allows the viewing of more blemishes etc. That were not viewable in the lower resolution. It is amusing to think of the porn industry being the driving force behind adoption.
They are saying that you can find a URL by it's geographical location, which I guess if you really wanted to do alot of whois queries and then drop the results into some sort of, well even a flat file, then find entries by location, then this is it. Soo I guess, yes but this eliminates the back-end work.
I am sorry I'm confused, It would seem more likely that AOL actually promotes Spam and sells it's users e-mail addresses, based what I know of them. This goes against all I know of AOL. And all of a sudden we are cheering for them since they sued one spammer, or really they mean a spammer that was not authorized by them ie making them money. This is not the warm fuzzy corporate company...
Why wasen't this on the front page?

Why was this not on the front page i think after that much of an absence it should have been if it had not been for my pretty GiS slahsbox i would have never known. Thanks for the show, I have been feinding for it for what six months now?
I found some sites that do use Slack for hosting but I can't give a testemonial about how good they are, since I have not used them personally. I just did a Server Hosting Slackware Linux and came up with some results. Cybercon gives a choice of what os you can run one choice being Slack.
Also Redan also gives a choice of OS to run. But it seems to only be Slack 3.6 maybe they just haven't updated it in a while. itconnect.co.nz seems to only use Slack. And i2net turns up a hit but upon searching thier site I can't find anything about Slack. I assume there are more choices there on google but I started feeling lazy and stopped looking. Hope that helps..
It is FREE... So you CAN use it.It is nice if you can support the cause via monetary means; but if you can not I am sure they appreciate your code and your thanks...
ISBN Number is.. ISBN 0-9683637-4-1 which is on the 2.6 Webpage

Yes , PCMCIA cards will work I use 2.6 on my Thinkpad 755CE currently. Make sure and check the README.i386 (assuming you have an i386 of course) for suported NICs and SCSI controllers.
here. Whenever I need to check devices I usually do it via the command line w/ the UCD SNMP package. and i automate the checking of devices via shell scripts and just have it page me if things go wrong..
As long as you remember that the phone is an illusion you are set.

I do believe he meant it to be read as IP = = Internet Protocol as a joke, and they did put it in all Unixes and for that matter MS, Novell etc..
