    a kilometre has 1000 metres which have 100 centimetres
    You tell me which seems more intuitive
    and if you can reduce the speed of light to an intuitive number then you'd win a nobel prize
    Try converting it to your archaic system
    As for their reason of creating metric, is was to make a better system that was easier and more logical

    then its difficult/impossible to get drivers for all hardware (as if linux has it in the first place) if its not on the CD itself. Also, I dont wanna reboot everytime I wanna play a game. I'd like to keep bit torrents, messengers, gamefaqs.com open in the background.

    This is a myth. Here in Canada everyone, government included, was not against the war. We already had our army sent elsewhere. And we know Saddam was a monster who liked slaughtering millions of people, mustard gassing/bombing iran, etc etc, is hitler reincarnated, and must be taken down. The fact that some ignorant masses were against it was insulting to us seeing the atraucities Saddam committed over the years. Dont go saying the US did the same, even in the light of the prison abuses, they still weren't as bad as what the IRaqis did to their prisoners

    MS put a firewall in xp since day 1, by definition thats not neglicence. Your analogy is as flawed as all hell. This is more like having a deadbolt on your door, but crooks just use a bazooka on the wall next to it and walk through the hole.

    sorry troll but xp works fine out of the box, is stable as your house, and insecure for only five minutes after it gets online and downloads all the updates. last time i checked, linux needs updates too, does that make it 'horrible'?

    Im afraid a wireless adapter wont do that. Plus if you RTFA, this is a cartridge with a build in wireless transceiver. ie: no other game can use it. You also spelled competition wrong, and simply adding wireless to GBA wont allow it to compete on the same level as PSP, thats what DS is for

    XP has Windows Restore, which also automatically sets a restore point every time you install new drivers, and software made for XP. And time you go into safe mode, it asks if you want to go to a previous restore point.
    It shouldnt be hard for linux to copy Windows Restore

    MS cancelled their XSN Sports games for this year too. Maybe they've finally realized that people don't want a new sports game every year which is almost exactly the same as last years only with an updated roster database which in this day and age, should be downloadable. Considering EB doesn't accept trade ins on sports games, I'm sure the retailers are happy too.

    Windows Update is semi automatic. It downloads the patches rated critical, and asks permission to install them.

    As for some patches causing trouble, I seem to remember an update for OSX that neutered the network adapter.

    As for DLL hell, that was cured in XP/2K which keeps multiple versions of DLLs

    Cube is ONLY outselling in japan, and last time I checked, the majority of /.ers are not in japan. In the US it is slightly ahead (as you admittided), which therefor it outsold Cube. Japan isnt an accurate representation considering most japanese have admitted they dont buy xbox just cause its american and big.

    none of the features you bitched about seem desirable. as for a built in search bar, its had it for ages. When you type into the url bar, it pops up Search For 'text' if its not already a url. And what do you mean by IE catching up? It seems like all the other browsers have been catching up to IE since they can barely render pages made for IE

    Where'd you get your information? They aren't having trouble with the XBOX considering its outselling GameCube. There are tons of XBOX games that I like, moreso than GameCube has (People are complaining about the lack of Cube games) Their games are excellent. But every game (Except Zelda 3) can be better. As for slacking off, look towards the purple cube of non-onlinishness you troll
