    When you make a sequal to a program, you can take all the original code and either leave it, or make it better (no programmer purpously makes it worse) (any effing trolls even think of suggesting MS does can go impale themselves on an iron poker) thus making the minimum quality the same as the original. Movie making, you have to start from scratch on the sequal for the story (games in general dont require a story to be good, coughMiyamoto) So the quality can go down unlike programs/games

    I did that, I love how nothing starts with windows without my permission. I locked a few other keys pertaining to IE so no spyware can touch my settings

    actually, on XP with default settings, commdlg32.dll (or any other system file) will be restored by the OS when you delete it from a backup location

    I think you need to format and start over. EVERY microsoft product I've installed, installed and works perfectly, surviving a reinstall of the OS without requiring to be reinstalled themselves.

    It sure is better than the 3.x version, but it has zero library management functions

    Just the way I like it. If I want to browse by a certain artist, I'll put in the CD of MP3s with that artist's name on it. MP3s arent the kind of file I need to be on my hard drive. Thats for my OS (XP, I'm happy with it, tried linux, had nothing to do on it) and programs

    look harder. iTunes is a resource hog. Many people tried to try it but it sucked up their RAM like a, (ah hell, it is slashdot anyway) new version of windows

    The dual shock is the best controller of them all. The DC controller is utter crap, you have to keep your wrists at odd angles, the triggers were bloody hell, playing crazy taxi hurts your thumbs something mad. the cube controller is no better, the bump in the middle is too close to the shoulder buttons leaving little room for large hands, the dpad leaves much to be desired for large hands, the bean buttons are just stupid, give me the snes layout anyday. the xbox controller is much better but the white/black buttons are awkward. big or small controllers are both good

    actually itll cost 1/3 of the entire car, youll lose any customization of the vehicle cause they'll send you a refurbished one, and itll have someone elses stuff in it.

    copyrights dont work that way. You can have them named the same so long as they arent in the same field. IE: Apple autoglass and Apple computers, no infringement there even if both of them simply go by Apple. (And their logo's are obviously different)
