That is just silly and you know it. Face it, the massive media companies have rights to entertainment that people want to see. Why else would they have billion dollar deals, all the top celebrities, skyskrapers, satellites, you name it.
To say that we simply should STOP watching any media that is DRM'ed is well.. just not real. It's like saying 'don't drink tap water because it's flourinated'. Sounds like a nice idea but in practice you gotta brush your teeth and people need entertainment.
I'm sure you've seen every other freaking movie and tvshow and song that the rest of us have. Hippocrite.
The same type of 'dead zone' is HUGE at the base of the Mississippi River. It has reached almost to the coast of Mexico. This is not a new occurance.
Nitrogen/phosphorus rich waters flow down river (usually due to excessive farming and over fertilization). A nasty green algae/plankton sluge forms on the surface. Oxygen vanishes, fish die.
Why do we allow this to occur? I think all the former employees of Napster should get a boxload of rocket propelled gernades and take out the RIAA once and for all!:)
I've used register.com to register a few domains over the past few months. At first it seemed like a pretty good deal, until I found a problem. Register.com's web based dns hosting program will not let you point aliases (something.someplace.com) to IP addresses. The addresses must already resolve to something. This is annoying at the least. Buyer beware. -lj 'Oh I'm a Lumberjack and I'm OK!

I've had one of these. It works EXCELLENT for the devices it's preprogrammed for. But in learning mode it has quite a lot to be desired. It would execute the command correctly once, then wouldn't twice, then again right. It's just not reliable for all those 'strange' keys. -Oh I'm a Lumberjack and I'm OK!
