They will patch the bug in OO (for this example) but mantain the 1.1.2 release. That way no new features are implemented but the bug es fixed.
I'm not saying that that's bad. I dislike it so I use other distro, thats all.
ASP documentation isn't as organized as you see it. Once you do that the function specficitacion or the teory of the objetcs, just lacks about it.
Also: PHP is as fast as do a php.net/whatdoyouwant ant thats it:)
I had the same problem, for a couple of months I work with a ISP. They wan't me to sysadmin until they see that I can code too soo more and more things to do start caming...
The short version: They askme to do everything that I already told them before start working and even that, they ask me if they can pay me less WTF!
So I quiet, and yes, there is a black hole in my resume, but I do what every mental-sane person will do: I lie.
I never work for them if you may ask;-)
