    That looks to me like SCO don't want to take any money yet because if the court case comes against them they will have screwed themselves over and be open to accusations of extortion

    That sounds a bit like like the bloke who (claimed to have)found a way of running a car from water, with a few additives of course.

    He had his research bought and was employed by a big truck company CAT i think, anyway I saw him on tommorrows world driving a truck around a track whilst being run only on water althought they never gave you any evidence all you saw was truck going round and round. this was about 8 or more yeas ago and i havn't seen anything about it since was it real and covered up a hoax or what.

    At my work place you need to fill in the same form that you use to apply for accses in the first place and you need to put alot of identifying info on with user id being the least of these. then you get your line manager to sign plus a Higher executive officer then the environment owner and finally the sys admin signs it

    Companies with draconian licensing terms will slowly learn that people won't put up with it.

    Problem is most people don't even know what a license is, most of those I ask presume it is just a copyright notice or something similar and just auto agree everything

    It's hard to envision a EULA under typical contract law because it isn't. In what other industry can someone be forced to agree with a contract that they haven't read and aren't given the option of reading until after you've paid. Now, the legality of this practice is questionable, but it is a free market

    I have always though off EULA's as being similar to going up to a star asking them to autograph a piece of paper and then revelling that it's a contract giving you there royalties

    On another note I remember someone doing his to OJ Simpson but in that case it was a piece of paper saying I did it.

    Card counting isn't a cheat it's a skill (provided it's done with out electrical or outside help)It's using your inteligence i have never played a game of blackjack inside or outside a casino that says you are not allowed to use your brain to win.

    But it doesn't make it very fair to the casino or the other players

    They should improve there skills not cheat which is what the electronics is about despite them claiming its to identify who the highest bidders are.

    and sometimes with the help of other people.

    Now that is cheating

    I can't live on what they pay Indian tech people. I can't afford groceries on those wages (and I eat cheap!), to hell with car payments/bus tokens, insurance, my mortgage, or any of the other costs of living my life. And this doesn't even include ANY luxuries like TV, Internet, clothes, pets, etc...

    but also you and those in the same boat can't buy the product there offering. eventually it could come round and bite them on the arse so when all the the money is the company coffers there is no one left to buy what they offer

    Hmm i have started taking a line with anoymous cowards that unless they have an obviouse reson to AC then they are lying because that's the only option left. i can see no obviuse reson you AC'd lossing a job is not one.
