I have 100Mbps service with Charter and find that many (most?) sites cannot or do not deliver content at that speed. Some clearly do (like Steam), so I know I am getting 100Mbps service, but for the most part this speed doesn't "feel" much faster than the 40Mbps I had before.

Vista is really bad about the constant prompting? Sorry but that's a massive productivity killer.

It only prompts during system-level changes. After your system is configured, you generally don't see the prompts. If you're an advanced user that knows what you're doing, just disable the damn thing entirely.

Also most things don't have drivers yet.

That's flat out wrong. Most things have drivers. There are a few things that may not, but you can use XP drivers in the meantime for most everything (except graphics drivers).

Big, big difference. You're talking blank recordable media. If the Blu-ray/HD-DVD conflict only affected blank media, it wouldn't be a big deal. But we are talking about factory pressed discs with movie content. It is a big problem that you can only get some moves on one format.

Everything works great, and when I call to make adjustments to my service they are always very helpful.
