  3. Not bright on Protest over LinuxWorld Penguins · · Score: 1

Bringing live animals to a convention where 1000's of people are going to be at an unsually short distance from these penguins is not bright. These animals didn't have a say in the matter and suffered the consequences if scared. Were they scared? Some say no, and that there is no way of knowing either way. My dad is an ornothologist and he pretty much declared this a nice terrorization of these poor birds. I'm not saying it was purposeful, but perhaps in the future, one will be more thoughtful to the mascots, more so than American Varsity boys are to their rivals'.

Macro and micro, two different classes, one is a small scale deviation of the assumed planned outcome and the other is a grand scale near immdiate change resulting from effects similar to, or exactly those that cause micro evolution.
Show me the man/ape? Prove it to me? CAn you?
you can not, for all accounts of "Stone Age or Neandrethal" Man have had less sequence homology to man compared with Chips who are >99.1% homologous to our DNA. So then, did we jump from chimps and not from the prehistoric man/beast evolutionary biologists believe in? No sir, and since this science is based on entire assumptions with little or no evidence for macro evolution in man, I think it not only naive of anyone to state that Darwin is a "god" in biology, but that these people also lack what is needed in science today. More fact and less fiction. God is easier to prove than the assumed missing link...

  5. Micro or Macro on Evolution is a Myth in Kansas · · Score: 1

As fully defined evolution, there are two types, micro and macro. Micro: minute change at the molecular level which induces change due to mutation or other. But the species remains the initial species. Ex: London species of moth that went from beige to dark coal black (similar to smog like colour of stacks nearby). This is accepted by the Church. Macro is not. Evolving from one species to another as in the case of ape to man. No available scientific evidence anywhere. And second, strictly against doctrine. As a strong Catholic and a Genetic Engineer, I say kudos to Kansas from a Canadian guy!

Funny how many Americans (I did not say all as I do not want to offend the handful of learned Americans out there) think that they are right in insulting a country where they know little about, if anything at all. Sorry, can someone remind me the last international standing on academics, including math and science (lets leave geo, his and econ completely out to save humiliation to the southerners...)oh, well I guess I won't be getting those stats any time soon, as few americans can count, spell, type let alone read, so where would they find that info anyway? Unless you know what you are talking about, keep you mouth shut. Canadians may be a quiet bunch, but when we talk, we have something informative to say, and we are usually right. Don't forget tweedledee, that the majority of your space program are ex avroaero boys from up north, that a significant number of your software programmers and computer engineers are Canadian born a raised, and that our minds run the world, we just let you guys spend the money to front our ideas. We may look stupid to you, but who benefits from our ideas for free? Hmmmm, now are our taxes really that high? Nope, we just make it seem so...
