I've actually operated one of these before.....I'm not sure it's by the same company, but there's a little fabrication shop about a 5 minute walk from my office that we frequently service their computers for. They use corel draw, and this laser. It's a nifty process to watch, maybe the next time I get over there, I'll set up a video camera and record it....I've seen it make everything..
I went frame by frame and noticed some
interesting things I'd post since no one else did...at least not that I've yet read:
First a theory, the large glowing conduits I would say are power lines to 01, the machine city, running from the matrix, which would likely not be in the same place. These lines I would assume carry power from the matrix where it is produced. The large spikey thing....I won't really speculate but the face that you see looks an awful lot like the face of the architect when you freezeframe.
In the background of that same scene, where the spiked object says, "Speak" you'll notice spires and towers, which I would assume are part of the machine city 01. Neo tells this construct that smith is out of their control, that they can't stop him, but neo can.
Next scene, agent smith and what one would assume to be other agent smith's climbing stairs, but perhaps NOT.
The rain, lots of smith's, neo, and smith.
Cut to what I assume to be the architect in machine form, asking neo, "and if you fail?". This face seems to look very similar to the face of the architect, but it is hard to tell, given that it's more like a mosaic.
Jump to next scene, what one would assume to be neo jumping to avoid smith who flies in through a hole in the wall, in a superman style.
Change to scene with neo wearing blindfold, sitting in a chair. Neo says, "I won't". Though with differing scene background, I wouldn't believe that the one with the machine construct is followed directly by this scene. Note the probe behind him, the one they use to jack in with....watch the way it moves, I don't believe this is held by a human, rather this is a part of a machine, perhaps neo is in the machine city jacking into the matrix? It doesn't move like a human was holding it, rather, it sways and then jabs itself forward, note the lack of human hand.
Change scene, trinity, asking, "Do you know what happened to neo?" We aren't shown who she's talking to, but because we hear the oracle's voice next, we assume the oracle. Neo is also shown opening his eyes.
Change seen once more, we see large floating machine constucts, unsure of what they might be, though I would assume guardians to the machine city, as you'll notice the assumed power lines below them.
Oracle tells the listener(we assume trinity) that neo is in a place between "THIS world"(note she says this rather than real) and the machine world. We would assume the oracle could not be in the real world, as she is a program, so if we want to assume neo is trapped between the real world and the matrix, we must assume the machine world is then the real world, controlled by machines. You'll notice trinity wearing her traditional matrix costume, which would imply she is in the matrix at that moment.
During the oracle speaking, we also see what appear to be large cylindrical towers in the distance, and on the ground, what appear to be the fields where humans are grown. This would appear to be supported by the machine on the right with the tubes seen in the first movie that plucked humans from the "trees" and used the tubes to transport them. I would assume the cylinders are where the humans are "stacked" in their pods.
Cut to Morpheus, Trinity, and what appears to be Seraph, though we are unsure as we never see his face entering what appears to be a club. The merovingian is speaking now. "Bring me the eyes of the oracle and I'll give you back your savior". Trinity and morpheus and what again, appears to be seraph are all seen holding guns to the people in the club.
Merovinigan still speaking, cut to scene in a subway station. A subway car is seen in the background. Note the guy who punches what is assumed to be neo. He was in "Enter the matrix" He said something to the order of "3 days and zion shall fall, that's the way it happened last time" It's the same guy. I believe he also had a cutscene in Reloaded. He's the homeless guy. If this is meant to be neo who is punched, the stunt d
I can of course, but then, my machines are frequently referred to as the whores of the internet. Downloading anything and everything simply because
A) they can
B) broadband
C) mass storage
D) I'm a member of downloaders anonymous
I myself have approximately......72 gigs of music.
Honestly? I don't think I've ever heard the same song twice.
Back on topic....
This would make for the perfect "Instant on" computer. Depending on the speed of the media of course. But just imagine if the computer was held in a constant state of hibernation, and this being non-volatile storage, power could be off, boot it back up, and voila, just like a pocket pc, your OS is contained on the mini-hd, and all programs, changes, etc are contained on the much larger hard drive. Something goes wrong, flip a switch, back to normal, with a brand new install. Imagine a....
Oh nevermind.
