But this flexibility only extends to the installation of Windows itself. To clone a full system with apps installed, Symantec Ghost or a similar utility must be used to create that image.
People don't use Ghost to make a copy of an unconfigured fresh install of Windows, they configure it first, then Ghost it. This new installer will have no effect whatsoever on sales of Ghost, or any other imaging software. After such a terrible start to the article, I'm not sure it's even worth reading the rest.
The article is wrong, you absolutely can include applications in WIM images.
I ran this thing on my PC for months before my employer even noticed. I used VMware for my Windows needs (as I was a network administrator, I needed to run some troubleshooting in Windows for user support) and Samba for all of my day-to-day shares and printing. In the end, the only reason anyone knew what I was running was that I was sick one day, and someone tried to sit at my desk, with very small amounts of success.

This makes it much easier to believe that Google is supporting the Open Source Community because they feel it's the right thing to do.
I'm from Washington, and I'd like to point out that neither Rossi or Gregoire is currently the governor of Washington. Thus this is not a "Challenger vs. Incumbent" type of thing. FYI the current governor is Gary Locke.
If you already have counterstrike 1.5 installed, the download via steam to update to 1.6 is small enough to be manageable. Also, most of the counter strike community has moved over to 1.6 now, so the survey should be fairly accurate of the gamers playing counterstrike, as you have to have steam installed to play 1.6
"I don't know why ISPs mix up the pool of IP addresses, but sure enough I have a new one (though my subnet hasn't chagned) every week or so."
My understanding is that this is done to make it harder for their users to run servers.
What about the lightgun for the NES?
