    I agree that EyeTV is the best DVR product for people running Mac OS X. It supports controlling a cable box with IR commands, publishing files to other servers, handles a couple HD tuners with no problem (2.0 Ghz or great processor dual core processor recommended) and sweet interface with remote recording support via TitanTV (in the US).

    Some people seem to have to make networks overly complicated but in most enterprises, a simple and clean architecture is the best policy.

    It basically comes down to switching at the core and routing at the edge. No need for all the jargon.

    If you examine the energy cycle on this planet a majority of it ultimately came from sunlight striking a plant, making the weather, etc.

    Unfortunately nobody in charge really cares how the planet works as long as they pump their black gold from the ground. There is only so long we can operate our economy in direct opposition to nature before something bad happens.

    When is the last time you talked to a real teller? ATMs seem pretty normal these days.

    One thing people have to realize is that a Price based economy doesn't deal well with replacing people with automation. Since the bottom line is making money, not making sure people have jobs.

    I would guess just plugging in a adaptor that allows you to use a old PS/2 keyboard via USB would work just great. Probably not too expensive either.

    Unfortunately this poster is wrong. As well as native port of SVN... There is TortoiseSVN which is a Window Explorer plugin that make SVN completely easy to use. --Give a man a beer and he'll waste a day. Teach a man to brew beer and he'll waste a lifetime

    Last time I checked, Firewire was 400 Mbps... quite a bit faster than 100 Mbps ethernet. Probably kicks ass with file transfers.

    Either I have the newer model of this monitor or you need the right cable so it does standard sync (not sync on green). My HP A4033A is connected to my PMac 8600 and works great.
