I have found that by adhering sheets of foam insulation (that pink stuff) to the sides of my PC, it really silences it. Putting some thinner sheets on the inside is even better, absorbs a lot of noise before it can come out the vents.

I'd suggest that people start thinking about using anti-freeze or other alcohol instead of straight water. It lets you run the heat dump outside in the winter, run the PC a lot hotter in the summer, and if you use straight grain alcohol, you can stock a wetbar next to your PC for life support. Talk about a twofer!
The thing of it is, you need us more than we need you. There are something like two non-OPEC nations that we export more to than we import from, and neither of them is in europe. If you really want to hurt us, you'll stop sending us cheap stuff to buy!
And by cheap, I don't mean poor quality. We don't need any more british auto electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, or luddite sci-fi.
I hope you'll reconsider once we find those Iraqi WMD after we invade Syria and France???;)
