That's a cop out and a shitty teacher -- unable to respect their student(s). The whole point of a teacher is to inspire their students to learn -- NOT to demotivate them! "Success" is the student knowing more then the teacher. That's how Scientists work!
In grade 10 (or 11) I had a physics teacher bust my balls one time because I was using the cosine law even though it wouldn't be taught until the next grade.
I asked him "Why am I being penalized for understanding Math??"
He relented and said I could keep using it.
Not a, "Hey, I saw you were curious about math using some formulas we haven't taught yet! Fantastic. Here are some other formulas you may want to check out too!"
Sadly open source isn't immune to this crap with SourceForge now doing this stupid shit of bundling malware, adware, toolbar hijacks, etc. Especially when you have yahoo's like FileZilla's admin approving(!) of this irresponsibility !?
Plutocracy is also a reminder of Walt Disney Copyright hijacking -- The Sonny Bono Copyright Extension Act was also known as the Mickey Mouse Copyright Extension.
I'm not sure why The Hobbit is so bad. One was OK, Two was more meh. It was like all the heart, soul, and magic of LOTR vanished in a poof of smoke for The Hobbit. I mean, come on, one of -the- best parts in one was the dwarves singing "Misty Mountains" and the song is not even 2 minutes long! It is like they don't have any faith in their ability to please the non-ADD crowd...
Speaking of foreign films...
Wheat (2009) was a great foreign film.. IF you can find it !
It opened at the Shanghai International Film Festival, but I guess it is not dumb action like Prometheus so it got panned...
It is the same fucktards who spend $100,000+ on a watch. Hell, even spending $10,000 on a Rolex are idiots -- Who knew the price of vanity was so high!
> To anyone about to say real estate is an investment, go look at his electric bill, cleaning bill, and property taxes.
Spot on!
If it costs you money it is a liability If it makes you money, it is an investment.
People who buy watches over $5,000 only prove that they have more money then brains.
No, I'm not confused. I host a few projects on GitHub and cross-develop on Windows, OSX, and Linux.
I was talking about the Git community, not the Git program.
I probably should of wrote it Git{Hub}
Being a fanboy for a shitty language doesn't make it any less shitty.
If you need to use triple equals '===' because double equals '==' is fundamentally broken then the language has already failed.
Maybe if the standard library functions weren't written by an idiot ... maybe the language wouldn't be looked up on being a total joke:
PHP versions: 4.3.0 - 5.0.5
*facepalm*
They can't even implement the ? : operator properly ...
PHP: designed by a boob for noobs
When you have to use a hack like
You know the language was designed by a retard who failed to learn _anything_ from Basic 20 years ago.
There is a reason we have strong typing in languages: to catch dumb mistakes at compile-time, not after-the-fact at run-time.
Denial is right. What a sell out and complete disrespect for the users.
For now, at least we can bypass this shit.

PHP is a shit language.

Git and GitHub users, if they provide binaries at all, don't follow this "let's shit on the customer attitude"
Why do you _assume_ free is good?
Just to drive the point home:
STDs such as Aids are "free" too.
Just because it is free, doesn't imply it is good (for you.)
Free source code: Good .exe + malware: Bad
Free standalone binary: Good
Free
Download.com is crap.
Sadly open source isn't immune to this crap with SourceForge now doing this stupid shit of bundling malware, adware, toolbar hijacks, etc. Especially when you have yahoo's like FileZilla's admin approving(!) of this irresponsibility !?
At least Git hasn't been effected (yet)

Pluto seems, sadly, appropriate. :-/
What, Sony respect their customers?
BWAHAHAHA
That's a good one!
Corporations only care about short-term profit; they forget their long term reputation because it can't be written down in the books.

replaced with another shirty language. This like arguing which is worse: bull shit or horse shit -- guess what, they both stink.
This isn't a battle - they both suck. A developer uses whatever crappy web language there is to get the job done.
News at 11.
> Corporatocracy (tm).
We _already_ have a word; plutocracy, and/or oligarchy
There is no need to coin a new word -- although yours isn't bad.
You expect the government to take responsibility and act respectfully towards its citizens by telling them the truth?
LOL.
This still applies. /Olbg. Intel Santa GPU

Now _that_ is fucking cool.
Just when I thought this place was turning into an ad infested swamp you pull out that gem!

oh wait ...

Exactly, apparently the parent never heard the word: Intra.
Inter-net in contradistinction to Intra-net.
One means connects to outside, the other means connects to inside, respectively.

Very nice.
You are confused about the context.
