1. You don't need full emulation. There are plenty of "wrapper" programs out there that are able to accomplish this feat. For example, a wrapper was made for ATI Radeon that ended up running the NVidia "Dawn" demo better than NVidia cards.
2. Most likely, and this might be the actual limiting factor.
3. Significantly larger cheaper and faster flash cards seem to be coming down the pipe. Maybe MS is banking on that and that is why they haven't confirmed the HD for certain because they want to see if they can use one of these new technologies.
4. I understand that the XBox 2 controllers will have a second set of shoulder buttons. They'll probably just be mapped to whatever black and white were mapped to.

There are a lot of things that Eudora has done well for many years that Thunderbird doesn't yet do, in particular: fast regexp filtering/search, server-side functions, and MDI. See Bugzilla bug 213562 for a partial tracking list.
That logic doesn't make sense. The GBA was emulated before it was released. PS1 and N64 were emulated (and yes, playable on then-current PCs) before PS2 and GC came out.
Oh really? Then what's this?
The SheepShaver page clearly states that it includes a PowerPC emulator for platforms that need it. It does not run OSX, however.
Also, here's the original e-mail that went out (a month ago) They never mentioned Apple though:

If you have a lot of time, read http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18574 It has more details (mostly spam) than you probably want.

That particular video is fake, but there is a prototype modchip that will boot homebrewn discs.

And some people 10 years ago thought that ray traced games were going to be on LAST generation CONSOLES.

Their initial announcement stated that they would be backlit (as opposed to the GBA SP's frontlit screens).
Yes, Deezer's other site, Video Game Jam.
For those unbelievers, here's a little proof and maybe a bit more
