Actually PHP is not that insecure.. Its the people who do not know hjow to write code who are insecure.
You blame PHP. I blame peole who actually think they can program but are nothing more but scripters.
PHP can be secure. If you write it correctly. Think about the script kiddys who use automated perl scripts.. Should perl not be on systems? If you want real security unplug your machine.. it will be safe. Otherwise any machine can be vouln.
from Sony's unique perspective in the gaming market.
Meaning he will preach leeching cash from users by doing thousands of bad expansions, buggy content and revamping the game in production to ruin it?

hahaha Its been so long i forgot the numbers, Take a pic of the Fusing... I remember when i got my Lt Kernel hard drive a whoping 20 megs was godly for a c-64
I miss the old days, doing 8086 Assembly to do intro screens, using sid music and raster bars.. Ahh good ol farlight, FBR, public enemy.. SOmeof thoes intros/demos were great. The old FIDOnet bbs's, c-net bbs, ivory bbs, That and who cant remember Quantum Link, which was awesome it had the first MMORPG (Club Carrabe, Which was based off of habatat). It had chatrooms similar to IRC, and all sorts of good stuff. It turned into AOL:P
Ahh the good ol days. And who could forget GEOS (hrmm looked like windows) and the 1381 mouse:P Eat your heart out MS:P
Also one of the things is that it requires media center, which IMHO i should not have to have mediacenter to watch tv. If i am going to pay for a service i should be able to log in from my laptop(XP-Pro) or any computer. They do look like they offer a ton of programs but i still did not see any live shows. If anyone is interested the website is http://www.akimbo.com/
Well, I find sites that are simplistic and not full of graphics easier to use. Plain and simple.. google.. Google being simplistic and powerfull is what made me choose it over yahoo, msn etc. I used to use webcrawler.com back in the day, why? cause it was simplistic. It was darn ugly but i got what i wanted and fast.
You look at the sites you use day to day.. do you find that you tend to like the more functional ones or the pretty ones that leave you going where is x or where is y.
With most stuff today ie games, applications etc, i want simplicity, power, and functionality. With eye candy you can make the website/app more complicated and in the end counter intuitive to use.
"and that if we can make a product they want".
Ok, you hear him well its time we all quit our jobs and become curry spice makers! We will be Ba-Zillion-Airs!.
"You shall ensure that your use of the Service does not restrict, inhibit, interfere with, or degrade any other user's use of the Service, nor represent (in the sole judgment of Comcast) an overly large burden on the network. In addition, you shall ensure that your use of the Service does not restrict, inhibit, interfere with, disrupt, degrade, or impede Comcast's ability to deliver and provide the Service and monitor the Service, backbone, network nodes, and/or other network services."
I have worked for ISP's where if someone is using to much bandwith we cut their connection. Most of the times ISP's oversell their network and hope that people dont use it up.
But i belive in this case this was just a shot to sell their own service, the main question is since its their network are they really ALLOWED to do this?
I appreciate you wanting to help support it. It means alot.. I would post the URL but having it be slashdot effect would kill me *I pay for bandwith above 30 gigs* and with over 8 albums avail for DL it would kill me.. Though thoes interested i will give you a link if you email xotmid@gmail.com. In hind sight i really need to get a slashdot proof version of my www site for the band =)
[..]"Piracy of music, piracy of TV, piracy of film -- it's all the same. It's piracy of intellectual property and cultural products," Mr. Sasseville said Thursday from his office in Montreal. "Nobody gets paid. Not only the big companies but also the creators. It's really important that we protect our culture."
IMHO that file shareing does not harm ones culture. The only thing it realy harms is big business. I am a musician myself and am under the camp that music should be free and people get paied for doing SHOWS.. The music itself should be promotional for the shows. And having almost signed a contract untill i read what i would get the musicians do not much per copy at all. They do make money on merchandizeing and doing shows.
Its a shame how deeply rooted the music industry is and what it can pull off. I just cant see how they are pulling the "culture" flag out of their pocket in this one. How does free music ruin culture? It only enhances culture due to the fact that more people are able to share in this cultural music. Atleast its just one ISP for now that is not protecting your privacy rights. But how long is it till others follow suit?
Personally I think that most people are not aware that the information that they are giving could be used in that way. The problem is that our personal information has become more and more frequently asked. I remember back years ago when you could actually refuse to give your SSN but now your SSN has become a more Unified Personal ID number. This in itself is a shame. People need to be educated about what information should be given. With the article there I am sure there are quite a bit of people who actually use social engeneering to gain what they seek. But there are the other ones who would rather do things anon.
What have you all done/given to win things? I know that when i refure to give out my information they usually say they cant give me what I won. It really makes you question what this information they gain is being used for when you win something.
I am sure it goes into some marketing DB somewhere that the company uses. But one can never be sure or safe. My X Wife one time had identity theft happen to her and it was a major hastle for us to sort it out. Though we have no idea how the information was gained. Let me tell you tracking down where the information was gained is close to impossible.
It has always been a bother having firefox set as my default browser and using yahoo IM. Would have to copy and pase the url into IE to change my avatar or play games. Is this showing us that companys are finally embraceing alts to IE and its propritary ways? I wish more sites would follow suit and embrace a standard, its a win win situation if they do.
While I am sure its nice to be able to use certain functionality of IE there are bound to be ways to do the same things in Firefox. Though it looks like the broweser wars might be back in full swing with IE7 and Firefox going neck to neck.
While I understand why Apple does the protection for the songs. If you buy a song you should be able to do with it as you please. I belive that apply only does the protection due to the threat of the recording industry on them. IMHO music should be free as in free beer. Being a Musician myself i give away all my music for free, i do make money at showes but not in my recorded music. But if you pay for a song you should be able to do what you wish with it. Hopefully apple will look and see that there is a real demand for this and change their ways. But a mostlikely situation is they will attempt to shutdown/patch the loopholes to protect their own backs.
If the Author reads/. we appreciate your work well atleast I do.

This sounds like a good way for thoes people who are tired of it being wrong to go fix it. Dont ban something you can edit!

Also for the C-64 SAM, which sounded about the same, you could modify it and its just as good as most days stuff.

Thats a feature of the X-Box 360, "a portable foot heater and Cooking stove."
Does it look cool? Most end users care only about graphics, sound and ease of use. Personally I think the X-Box 360 will reign King.
Comcast probably did this blocking to sell their own service.
They could justify the block with this part of their TOS.
