I was at home watching the taped delay of the shuttle. (I was homeschooled for 1-4th grade and think I was in 4th grade when this happened)
I remember that it was a black and white TV as well and being totally shocked.
As for 911 I was on the MAX(Metro Area eXpress) on the way to work and missed both the towers being hit and going down till i got to work. (It was the west coast too so I was a couple hours behind anyway) Nothing got done at work at all that day. We just watched TV all day.
All the earthquakes I have been though I totally missed. One was in at night Kentucky camping and the other was when I was at home getting ready for work when I could not figure out why the cat was freeking out. Got to work and they said there had been an earthquake. (this was in Portland Oregon)
Yeah I live in Oregon and (correct me if I am wrong.) one of these caused the only fatality in the US during WWII when someone stumbled across one in Oregon and it went off. I do not remember the exact name of the person who was killed but there is a plaque and marker where it happened.
I have a similar highschool dream. It mostly happened right before I graduated college (as in, a week or two beforehand). I kept dreaming that I fucked something up in highschool and had to go back, and then they weren't going to give me my college degree until I did. Fucking weird.
I have had the exact same dream recently and have been out of college for more then 4 years. I think it was because I was going to my high school 10 year reunion this last weekend and that triggered it for some reason. Odd as hell!
What about the employee that is so overzelous that they make them selfs an extra key so they can take it home get the info and then return it. I would rather they just leave the CC number off the key all together. What is the need for the lock to know your credit card number? (unless they are used for things you purchase in the hotel)
Yeah SpyBot seems to be a small one person deal. I have been using it for a while now and have had no problems. I use it in conjunction with Ad-Aware and what one does not catch the other usually does.

Yeah Ad-Aware is a bit slow but it works great. I usually set it to run overnight.
