try this http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/ and download the BootIT program. This is the best partitioner I've found in a long time. I've used BootIT to repartition dozens of boxes, and it has never failed me.
The funny thing is, once you actually know what you're doing (as in undertanding relationships, SQL and what not), access is a pretty good tool... I created a handfull of access databases that not only run over a network share (enabling multi-user access and data entry for thousands of records), my co-workers and I put enough sql and (gasp!) vba code into it that it does all sorts of things; it creates temp tables and primary keys on the fly, automatically sends emails from table lists, checks for consistency, purges tables, etc, etc, etc... I whole-heartedly agree that anything on the hands of a phb is dangerous, but I also think that if you know what you're doing, access is great....
We use novell's zenworks for client imaging... In some cases, it even compressed higher and faster than ghost! Granted, it takes forever to download the image back to the client, but considering that you can integrate an imaging policy with in your directory service, you end up with lots or possibilities....
But I thought that, if you subscribed to their (outrageously expensive) licensing scheme, you'd get upgrades in a more frequent basis, all part of the yearly contract you paid for... Granted, Win2k3 just came out, but 2006 is a long way from 2001's WinXP Pro, their lastest update to the workstation line of OS'es... Can somebody enlighten us on how licensing will apply here?
358 posts, and only 5 or so make it to the main discussion page??? can this many posts be so bad? If it's such an irrelevant topic, why bother to post the question in the first place?
I manage a charity program where we donate/sell dirt cheap older computers to needy families. We've been using win98+oofice for a while, but this weekend we'll donate the first batch of pc's running rh9 + XPde (www.xpde.com). They run Rh9 for stability, have the windows-like XPde interface to help the user becomes used to the new environment. We even got winmodems to work on the thing, so they can have dial-up internet! Linux proved to be a great money-saving alternative in a area where every dime counts.
Just use a download manager like Reget (www.reget.com), or any manager that automatically opens new/multiple sessions. If warner resets your connection, the manager will just open another one (or multiple sessions) to compensate. I just downloaded the trailer in 2 min., after failing several times with Opera.
is also a two-faced god.
"Excuse me, are you looking at me or at my pockets?"

"Our products are not developed with security in mind"
That was more like a prophecy....
