    maybe you are right. Maybe what you see as a weakness, I see as strength. But, I'm sure you agree that bad code can be written in any language. "It's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean."

    Just a note: PHP is not a weak typed language, it is a dynamic typed language. It doesn't ignore the types, it converts them. Which is sometimes useful to look at an object as an array.

    Netflix, along with CleanFlix and the like are stupid distribution methods though. We've got digital media, we're GETTING to full broadband (very slowly, but surely) so why not use it?

    If I wanted to download a full length dvd quality movie (~4GB) over my DSL line it would take aprox 12 hours, (160 hours for the 56k folks) if the servers can keep up and my upstream is fairly clear. not to mention the hassle of hooking it up to my home theater. Netflix, has it right.

    Look, I work for apple (their online store), and do you think if they told their employees much they could keep any of their secrets? But all I have to say is apple isn't shy about pulling its products. MacTV anyone?
