No matter what you like, no matter what the constitution says, the fact is that online shopping WILL BE THE MAJORITY in the future. Then where does the state get the money? They are already bankrupt. The law has to allow them to tax more.
Actually, it was the US who publicized the "conflict" in the international waters, not the China. Looks like an intentional leak from the Pentagon to pressure the new president.
I am no fan of Microsoft, but it's not like they are doing anything illegal or unethical here. Even Redhat's CEO commented he didn't believe in Linux's desktop future.
Frankly, netbook looked like worth a shot for Linux. If it fails, then maybe desktop market is just too hard for Linux to win.
While I was reading it (well I didn't really, but pretend you believed me RTFA), I had a hunch that these officials really got all the threat ideas from certain hot anti-terrorism show. Power grid attack? That sounds too familiar. What's next, I guess a bunch of armed terrorists are just going to break into the white house?
"Some officials" come forward and warn about threats from China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. "Ya know, Sir, we need funding for enhancing national security, so please make sure you get your budget right."
It was said by replacing "Microsoft Office" by "MSOF" will make certain office releases from 10 floppy diskettes to 9, saving tremendous manufacturing cost.
most of the software has this type of stuff abstracted away by the operating system
The OS doesn't abstract IPV6. The application has to use the proper APIs to support IPV6 directly. For example, it cannot assume sockaddr is ipv4 only, and ultimately support both ipv4 and ipv6. It's never that easy.
Vista is not so bad after all!
Union
And you don't read TFA to put a proper comment.

Redhat isn't vouching for Windows either.
black screen with GREEN characters flowing from top to bottom.
I hear they call it the Matrix OS.

It's nothing new folks, everyone knows the most popular search word on the Internet.
Village of the faceless screaming hicks
There you are just being stupid. How could you tell people are screaming if they are faceless?
Serious, does every posting have to be a joke?
I give a shit
To whom? I don't want it.
When can we filter out all the paper junk mails stuffed in my real mailbox?
send more _useful_ emails to offset that.
No, that was BillBill and now SteveSteve.
