I'm reallly impressed with Chrome's speed and stability, but have to stick to Firefox for its addons. To make me happy only one of the two things should happen: 1. Chrome gets addons more like Firefox's 2. Firefox becomes more like Chrome
And thank you, Google, for contributing to the world your refreshing ideas and code.
How does the "interop" argument work for patents? If you implement something for interop, does it infringe on patents? Nowadays all FAT uses are probably just for interop.
Living a lie for your entire life is not as easy as you think. Can you fall asleep at night? Do you feel guilty for betraying people's trust? Have you thought about what your children would think of you when they find out?
I am not as wealthy as Madoff. Heck, I am not really wealthy at all. I still have to go to work every weekday. But I like my life, and I enjoy my job. I'd rather having an honest, normal, quiet life than living in a mansion but worrying about the knocking of my door every day.
How about all the clients who did everything they could to have the privilege of being Madoff's clients? I mean heck what were they thinking while they saw their accounts having unbelievable returns? They might as well take some responsibilities.
Yes. They're a marketing company that has some tech leanings - it's been this way for as long as I've been into computers (the early 80's)
Wake up. You can tell this with a straight face. As bad as Microsoft seems to some people, they are still a technical company. Vista also proved that their marketing sucked more than their actual technical strength.
1. I don't normally worry about viruses or malwares. Running one is just a precaution, especially after downloading stuff from net. 2. Symantec and McAfee just SUCK. I don't know why they are still in business. Their business model is to spread FUD so people will buy their shitty products that do more harm than good. 3. I've had much more success with free AV software than non-free ones. Microsoft Defender is actually pretty good. There is also a Chinese malware product called 360safe (http://www.360safe.com) that I use. On the contrary S/M never cleaned a malware for me once.
It's like saying: the government needs to fix poverty.
It's easy to say "fix it all!" until you actually have the knowledge, experience and position to do so. Then you'd realize "darn, why hadn't I thought of this shit?"
Yes it's complicated. And yes that's exactly why I stopped watching it because once I miss one or two episodes, or if I was not paying full attention I quickly lost track of why people were shooting and running. Hell I didn't even now which era that was in.
Microsoft is welcome to port IE to Linux.

It's nothing, just push the 'reset' button, and tell the pilot 'no more porn on the plane computer!'

but the comparison is a bit apples and oranges.
You meant Apples and Windows.

He is ALWAYS with his pc while at home. And his couch. And TV.
What kind of life are YOU having at home?
Delete and Escape, sounds like what a hacker would do.
This is anti-virus as well as anti-malware. It supercedes windows defender.
Who were fired?
that fact that hard disk drive prices are at an all-time low
Was there ever a time that hard disk driver prices weren't at an all-time low?
SCO can sue them for trademark infringement then, can't it? New lawsuit, new revenue, new life!
This isn't electoral interference. It is an attempt to prevent censorship and aid people who are being oppressed and persecuted.
The question is, would US still be attempting to "help the oppressed people" if the other candidate won?

Or you can filter such stories yourself and pretend they don't exist.
Who are the morons that modded the parent flamebait?
Oh, welcome to mod me down too, when you are here.
Why?
1. I don't normally worry about viruses or malwares. Running one is just a precaution, especially after downloading stuff from net.
2. Symantec and McAfee just SUCK. I don't know why they are still in business. Their business model is to spread FUD so people will buy their shitty products that do more harm than good.

You don't need that software. You already got Windows.
So after Bing, there is Natal. I wonder how it's going to be translated into Chinese (hint: it sounds like a part of a female body).
Firefox needs to fix this.

And what's the baud rate of that?
I watched a few episodes.
Yes it's complicated. And yes that's exactly why I stopped watching it because once I miss one or two episodes, or if I was not paying full attention I quickly lost track of why people were shooting and running. Hell I didn't even now which era that was in.
Yes, sometimes I fall asleep on the toilet when I do this.
Somehow "micro" "soft" don't sit very well with "Bond".
