  1. Lagrange point between the Moon and Earth? Ummm... on Buzz Advocates Lagrange Point Spaceport · · Score: 1

Well, just to clarify things, there are 5 Lagrange points for any two bodies in space; one between the Earth and Moon L1, L2 behind the moom, L3 behind the Earth, and L4 and L5 at points at the sides.

Anyway, Buzz, a station at L1 would not be very feasible since it is extermely unstable and is constantly changing; Orbits at this point would require large amounts of stationkeeping to keep operational...

Homer: Wow, what an ending! Who would have thought Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker's father! Crowd in queue: Oh, thank you, Mister Blow-the-picture-for-me.

  3. Daikatana: Overrated? No. Overhyped? Definitely. on 25 Most Overrated Games of All Time? · · Score: 2, Insightful

I personally think you can't consider Daikatana an overrated game. I've yet to meet one person who had anything nice to say about that piece of dribble. If anything, many reviewers could not wait to go to town on the reviews before the game could ever come out...

  4. Remakes Do Not Generally Work on Games That Should Be Remade · · Score: 1

Remakes usually are made in the spirit of "how else can we milk this cow?"

Take the movie industry for example. Usually if a remake is considered good, then that means the original may have, well, sucked; take Ocean's Eleven for instance, the original was eh, which made it easy to make a great remake. Expectations were never high. But then, a decent movie like The Italian Job gets remade, and whaddya know, it's crap.

So I think the same is true for the game industry. Designers may get wrapped up in making these games visually appealing to new gamers but in the end will lose sight of what made them spectacular. Besides, there's really no good reason to remake them, just pull out an old 386 or your NES and enjoy...

But if you must ask, I would love to see a new Wing Commander (bring Chris Roberts back), King's Quest, or Star Control.
