    No, they only realized that they can't compete in this low profit margin market. Windows license does not cut in when competitors are free.

    Based on design description on wikipedia I suspect that BWRs have positive void coefficient just like RBMKs. Human intervention is not required to sustain reaction.

    Does it really need to be said that the Japanese lost control of exactly 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000% of their nuclear fuel.

    IMHO used fuel storage facility was in part which blew up. Japanese might control all active fuel cells, but used up cells are radioactive too.

    Since "IPv4" is gonna implode this year (yeah, right, but just go with it.....), the IP space is gonna have much more real value.

    It is only gonna happen and that IP space is undervalued right now. They know that and they are not selling it today. If Oracles sells sun.com, Larry decided to wipe out everything related to Sun or they want to get their 1B bucks back at the cost of killing everything related to Sun brand.

    No presure at all. Free speech laws don't allow nuts to take down "immoral" sites. The only purpose of new top level domain is that somebody has problems selling random 64 letter groups and they want to increase their profits.

    Hell, give everyone a good thick sweater and lower the hab temperature to 10 degrees and you just eliminated half your heating bill.

    Do you sleep in sweater too?
    Maybe you are born in North pole and can live in 10C environment. I notice when room temperature is down to 17C or less. You might eliminate half of your heating bill, but you will have to pay for sedatives in order to keep people calm. They will be pissed off, if they know that you save money by keeping them in low room temperature.

    1. How big were disks in DOS5 era? I don't think you can fit windows 7 on them.
    2. How much memory computers had and how much is required by Win7.
    3. If you use os longer, it changes. Are more likely to break during upgrade.
    4. How do you know that Win7 UI hasn't created problems for dinosaur who used DOS5

    I'm curious why Intel would be interested in acquiring an anti-virus company.

    Maybe they have lots of cash in some unstable currency and want to spend them. If they buy software company, they can diversify their business a little bit.

    Or they extended "don't do evil" to "destroy evil" and decided to kill that McMfee for 8B bucks.

    The Israeli government is under pressure to ban Arabs from future elections under the pretense that they don't consider Israel a "Jewish" state.

    If you don't think that Israel is a state, then why do you want to participate in governance of that state?

    It does not ban Arabs, it bans extremists who don't recognize Israel state. If I remember region's history correctly, such requirement is justified.

    What if the amount of money heading to Gnome (the 25% of Amazon's 10% kickback) is actually greater than the 100% Banshee has been donating?

    If Banshee software in unchanged, then Gnome gets 100% of Ubuntu Banshee money. If code is modified Gnome gets 25%. Last time I've checked 25% is smaller than 100%.

    If you are in an accident, can't do anything and other person is calling 911, you can only wait for police/ambulance to come. What would you do while waiting? Browse internet on your phone. Tell the world that you hit somebody, if you are facebook or twitter junkie.
