    Unfortunately, the vast majority of Windows PCs (including pretty much every laptop ever made) also use these "inferior" screens, and nobody's tried to sue Dell yet.
    The majority of Windows PCs are non-specific about the superiority or inferiority of their screens. Dell doesn't lie about it. No fraud, no suit.
    What's the difference between 16.2 and 16.7 mln colors? 0.5 mln colors or two missing bits?

    You could even make it detect when it's entered a location with a wifi connection, such as the garage, and start downloading new episodes.
    When you are in your car, car is usually moving at 50 km/h or more. You will be outside of Wifi access point range in less than 10 seconds.

    Avoid therapy that involves changes in time continuum. Soviet KGB was dissolved in 1991 and this cat was caught in US. KGB is not part of USA law enforcement yet.

    I dont remember ever having an Upgrade of Windows Media Player ever install IE...

    I was talking about IE7 installation through Windows Update. Apple Software Update is equal to Windows Update. Not to standalone upgrades of Media Player.

    There is a tendency to push own update services in commercial and oss products. Some of these services are used to install other software (IE7, Safari). Some are intrusive (Adobe Updater) or installed as automatically started programs (Java Update Scheduler, Google Updater).

    On average windows machine there are more than 3 programs that can be used to install third party software on machine. Two of them are already abused to push software in order to restore or gain browser market share.

    Are you sure that you have imagination?

    You should NEVER ask customer for his/her credentials. It is private information. Do what ever you can in order not to ask for third party passwords. Like asking him to try typing password in plain text field or implement "show password" feature.

    Not only are you drinking Apple's Kool Aid, it's old Kool Aid. Amazon had deals with all the major labels now
    Sony Music Entertainment (Germany) GMBH & Co. Even in iTunes store song selection differs, if you select US store instead of UK. US store has smaller selection of Sarah Connor songs. Amazon store has no Sarah Connor songs in mp3 download section and works only in US.

    Wouldn't such a system assume that everyone uses only one handle - or, their real name - all the time for every project?
    It does not. Two persons with same nick handle can commit to different projects and they are not counted as one person. One person can have different nick handles and link them to own ohloh id in project properties.

    This update just installs updates, and is a PREREQUESIT to SP1.

    If some Windows updates are required to install SP1, then some people won't be able to install SP1. In my case I can't use Windows Update, because that f-thing fails with 80070643 error and Microsoft insist that it is related to Microsoft Office Source Engine. Office is not installed on that machine.
