I can understand Spam but Drive-by-Exploits? Social Engineering? Denial of Service??? Surely there are German words for this? I mean 2.2.4 I'm pretty sure is botnet; which I should be a lot harder to give its own German translation than Advanced Persistent Threat?
How do you find a judge to 'take the case' until you've already filed a law suit? I'm not sure you're familiar with the process of filing a law suit. And who is to say it's frivolous? You? Are we to forward you all law suits for preapproval? No; this is how the legal system is suppose to work. You are allowed to file a case for whatever you want. You can sue for more money then exists on earth if you want. http://what-if.xkcd.com/96/ Now what can and normally happens in these cases is the defendant will file their answer saying something to the effect of 'This person is crackpot' and file a motion to dismiss. The judge agrees. Bing bang boom the case is gone.
So really once Comcast files their answer to something of the effect; "It's in their contract we're allowed to do this" and the judge doesn't drop it then maybe you'll have something to whine about. But till then complaining about someone 'filing a lawsuit against comcast' is like complaining about the people that sue the FBI for stealing their brain waves.
There's nothing wrong with the legal system.... yet. I could sue you for making this post if I wanted to pay the filling fee; the only real test of the legal system is how far the case goes.
Here try this report. Unrelated the article, but if you want pictures of webs it's hard to beat. http://www.entsoc.org/PDF/2010/Orb-weaving-spiders.pdf As an interagency team with expertise in arachnology, urban entomology, and structural pest management, we were unprepared for the sheer scale of the spider population and the extraordinary masses of both three-dimensional and sheet-like webbing that blanked much of the facility’s cavernous interior.
Well 5000 amortized over the life of a 30 year mortgage is only like 20 bucks a month. Who in their right mind wouldn't pay an extra 20 a month for gigabit ethernet?
You've obviously never done construction... there's no market for 7' 11" walls, 8 foot walls, and 8' 1" walls when 8 foot walls will work fine.... goto a lumber store, you'll fine 2x4, 2x6, and 2x8, etc. Why? It's not like the saw couldn't be easily be programmed to cut out a 2x3.75453 board it's just no one cares. And even for the options you would need available you could have 1000s of molds for the price of one of these printers.... 1000s of molds that can all be working at once while this printer can only doing one thing at a time.
While 3d printing is cool and all what advantage does 'printing' concrete slabs offer or normal precast molds and just pouring the concrete in the old fashion way? The article doesn't make it clear, but since this is a company and not an experiment one has to assume they see sort of useful reason in doing it this way, but for the life of me I don't see what it is. If you're using a mold for concrete it's almost literally as fast as you can pour the concrete when using one...
That makes sense IF the person made some sort of mistake. For example if someone posts 'hey guys check out this crazy punch from UFC' and uploads short clip of it to you tube. The probably helps the company as free advertising more than any sort of copyright infringement. Someone who uploads 124 full fights to several different sites knows exactly what they're doing and are just give the finger to Zuffa; they deserve the full fury of the law upon them.
This is true. The Bronze star while being a 'combat' medal doesn't require one to participate in combat to receive it. And in fact sets the bar pretty low with only requiring ' meritorious achievement or service'. This new medal's requirement of 'extraordinary achievement' would indeed seem to place it higher then the bronze star. Point of fact 'extraordinary' is the same wording found on the service crosses; the second highest award after only the medal of honor. Where as one can find meritorious achievement as a requirement on something as common as a Achievement medal (The military's "good job" awards).
I have a gut felling that putting 60 earth sized objects in orbit around a Jupiter wouldn't work. Small planets don't fair that well... less you forget that our own moon is also in the 'habitable zone'
Wow... I was reading the trivia for that show and saw this. "Aired back to back with Rubix the amazing cube." ...
I take back everything bad I thought about Space Invaders: The movie...
Apparently the bottom was reached in 1983 and it's actually been all up hill since then. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYs_GCy9PRk
So then why hasn't the country since the government has been out there with alligator clips doing legal intercept since the days of the telegram? It hasn't because there are legal requirements to do so. You have an expectation of privacy... until the judge signs a warrant saying they can intercept your communications.
If you have an issue with them intercepting your Voip then logically you must also be against lawful intercept on POTS and Cell phones. When will be staging the protests rally against those terrible government intrusions?
I don't think twice about using my home phone because the police have ability to intercept it.
I don't think twice about using my cell phone because the police have the ability to intercept it.
This is really is one of those situations that if you aren't doing anything illegal don't worry about it and if you do worry about it find another tool.
I'll agree with you that the 'NGE' was what ended up killing the game. But the game was deeply flawed before then and was probably going to die anyway. I personally loved the 'sandbox' and ran a pretty good sized crafting enterprise (few hundred mines/factories, good size player city, even established suppliers). But there was nothing to do beyond that; say my enterprise made 1 million credits a day or 1 billion what was the point? Hanging out with people is fun, but it can only take you so far.
Or say I was a fighter what was the point of trying to max one skills when a the most powerful creatures required no more thought then 'everyone start shooting and running in circles'
And any sort of PvP had to be volunteered into by setting a flag and had no point other then to simply kill the other person who turned on their flag. It was basically what any other game would call a duel.
Now what they should have done is added more content in for the 'end game' rather then try to reboot the whole thing as a new game. But regardless with out major intervention the game was probably doomed anyway. They just choose badly in their efforts to save it.
Of course this is someone that took the time to debunk 'Petite Lap Giraffes' in the first place; so, is it really so suppressing?
Now maybe if he could take the time to look into a real hard hitting issue like where jack links gets such great footage of big foot or how geico taught a caveman english maybe he'll be on to something worth reading about.
For pure age of the data I don't think you can really beat vinyl unless you get into the written word, I mean 50-60 year old albums are pretty common and I've seen stories of people doing 100 or better year old albums.
Now of course it isn't very complex.... just plug the player into your computers sound in, but if all you're intrested in age I think it's pretty much unbetable unless you're counting the scanning dead sea scrolls or something.
I was forced to pick up a e version of my math textbook for 70 bucks, no option but to do so since the book is tied to the eclass that the collage out sourced it's vitual classroom to.
What makes it extra special is the profssor lets us take the final in person with open book... but we're not allowed to have any type of computer. So if we want to actually use the book on the final we're force to print the whole damn thing out.
Collage is dumb.

6 times the diameter or really more importantly 36 times the area which is what really maters.
Plus the biggest changes seem to be in the colors not the growth which might be related to the fact it was taken by two different telescopes....
Yes... because that never rounds off numbers.

Yah but you can test that by turning it off.....
I mean to simulate an attack on the base you don't actually need to drop bombs on it.
Yah but then we wouldn't be allowed to pull it any time we want for whatever reason we want....
Why do we need an exercise to jam our own satellites? Shouldn't they be practicing jamming GLONASS or something?
