Hey, the truelly original games are a risk. You never know if it's going to be huge, or fade into oblivion. But hey, congrats to everyone trying. I can't wait to play something new and different.
Sure, but paper won't knock you silly if you do a swan dive. :) Well, I guess it could. :)
Randy Middle aged Priests! Run for your lives!
I don't know, Scrooge McDuck managed to swim through gold coins just fine. Why not paper bills too? :)
Good points.
I think it's safe to say that more people are talking on the phone, that surfing the web.
More dangerous. When a plane fails, they can dump it into the ocean or a low poputation area. When a train fails, it either grides to a stop, or jumps track and takes out people, houses, and businesses.
Your boss lets you be 3 hours late?
Say what?
Sure. But that is not their primary function.
" Cable providers also sell digital phone services over the same cable. Why then is this not a 'telecommunication service?'" maybe because that is not their primary function?
I'm in love with ports. It just makes things so damned easy. I'd venture to say that without ports on FreeBSD, I'd never have learned so much. I've always thought that with a little more polishing, it could be good enough for even my mom to use.
"Linux-Based Phone Lasts 200 Hours on Standby" In other news, car drives 500 miles on a tank of gas, and plane 20 hours! Agreed. Although impressive, not unheard of.
I did get a partial mirror up. I think I'm missing some pages though. http://forumpics.info/cooling/
That sure does sound ecologicaly friendly too! :)
I'll add more pics, if I get them. http://forumpics.info/cooling/
okay, AC. But putting a power reliant, mission critical, data center on an unreliable power grid, is stupid. So what if you can keep it on by feeding the generators more fuel. It's pretty cost inefective to rely on that very often. Especially when you easily put it on a more reliable network, and not spend money on deisel.
and more cowbell.
Yes but in a place where they could go down for much longer, they would need much more. Making thigns expensive quickly.
I don't know about now, but Alaska didn't used to have a very reliable power grid. Any benefits might be offset by having to have huge UPS and generator systems.
