    I think maybe you overshot the target. Let's not forget that the people running the corporations make these decisions. Sony is not some autonomous entity capable of thought and action. Only the people employed by the company can do those things.

    I'd also say you're dead wrong in your conclusion, specifically regarding the 'cozy little circle jerk.' Certainly, there are members of the media who are little more than flacks. That's not the whole story, however, and it's probably not even the half (although I have no numbers one way or the other.)

    Let's not get carried away. It serves no one.

    I'm not the parent, and I actually really like Columbus, but it is in the middle of nothing. We northeast types are used to a practically nonstop city from DC to Boston. It's just not the same feel in Ohio.

    There's a fundamental assumption underlying your initial premise that needs to be corrected: people aren't paid based on anything aside from the market value of their job. Difficulty has nothing to do with it.

    In any case, I suspect acting is a lot more difficult than you believe, and it's certainly harder then chucking garbage into a truck.

    One thing I love about Mac people is how they always find some way to let you know that how you use a computer is wrong, and the only true way is the Jobs way. I like Macs, but damn if I'm not tired of the community.

    Wake up, Mac people. You aren't perfect. Your favorite corporation isn't perfect. Your way is not the only way. That is all.

    I guess it's high time these companies got their act together and figured out a way to provide content for free without ads just to keep people like you, who represent absolutely nothing of value to them, happy and contented. I can't imagine why they would do that, but what the hell, I'm with you. It's just crazy enough to work.

    Nothing has ever borne such a theory out. There are no hard facts to back it up. No measurements exist with demonstrate this. It's just one more opinion stinking on the heap of opinions about copying things from other people.

    This is a war fought on both sides by greedy people who want what the other side says they have no right to, and neither side has yet made an objective case as to why they are right. It's like watching three year olds fight over the fire truck.
