I think IE 6 Service Pack 2 has the best popup blocking by far...
There were a lot of pop unders and others that were starting to get by the google toolbar and even on my Linux box with Mozilla. I have not seen one pop up since upgrading my XP boxes to SP2...
This is still a far off dream in my opinion. One of the highest costs for ISPs in a wireless solution is backhualing the traffic from the radio to the data center / noc where the teir one connections are.
This is why ISPs must charge more for wireless access than other types of Internet access.

The supreme court is supposed to uphold the constitution, not change it via ruling and decree. That is why they founding fathers made it so it can be amended!
FTP is far faster than bittorrent is you are connecting to a server that has the available bandwidth to saturate your downstream. I get 390-400kb/sec off of mirrors.pair.com from my cable mode connection. Much easier, faster, and more effectient use of my network resources than bittorrent. Plus FTP does not crash your average home routers by cramming torrent packets through it...
