Coca-Cola has been around so long and they sponser every event they could of course they have the valuable brand name. I would think other companies wold have beat out Microsoft. All well I thought wrong lik enever happen before:)
This law doesn't make sense Because a kid can go to any retailer (online or brick and motar) and purchase the same game the government is trying to "Protect them from" It just seems silly to me that is all
Something like this could support the claim about how Decss could be used for piracy. I could be wrong but this might hurt the case. A little the price of the DVD-RAM is still hi though. You never know what lawyes will pull.
If someone created an open source clone of the Mac OS X desktop Apple will have a hissy fit. If they put in a country the won't hold up their coptright they can not do a thing.
I guess E-bay is taking off it's gloves by saying you can not search information on my site that might harm me. This can also be look at as anti-competive behavior we may have a another lawsuit on our hand here.

Pros on opening the source for the drivers 1) Acceptance in the Linux/OSS community 2) The driver can be part of the linux kernel 3) If there is a bug in the drivers it can addressed quickly 4) People can create alternate solutions for devices
Cons on opening the source for the drivers 1) The cat is out of the bag 2) People can create alternate solutions for devices (Might cut into revenue of other devices) 3) Competion can create a clone of your device easier

That can cause a big problem for Microsoft. Also if some figures about a way how to sync with an Exchange Server then Microsoft will have an even bigger problem.
Finally American companies can compete in outside Markets for encryption software. I hope it is not too late for these companies to get a foot hold in the marketplace only time will tell.
Alot of people can not used to thinking recursivly. Since there are other "free form" languages out there they don't bother to learn it. That is why it these languages are not used as much as they should be.
