i agree totaly
this hapened to me this last year..
(i graduationg in coumputer science).
the course was data structures.
i had no experience in java, the professor just said:
-- it will be nice if you learn java.
all he had done about it is that in the last semester he had tought introduction to programing to the freshments so he gave the link of the website he done to the freshemnts.
the website had some links, some example programs...
and some links for some books.
i think the best one was bruce eckel's thinking in java. just type thinking in java in google and youll find his website
Hehehe
i know what ure saying man.. i have an US keyboard in home and here in work i have a brasilian ABNT2 one.
im brasilian.
they are preety much the same, the only thing is that brasilian abnt2 has theese extra keys
==> '`c^~"' ==
ya americans would no prob use the c but the other are pretty usefull.
if u are interested in a keyboard with the euro simbol, try a portuguese from portugal one.
they look a lot with brasilian ones but have some diferent keys, that include euro.
Hey
Did you tryed mplayer (yeah)
Mplayer runs everything.. even in windows.
I allways used linux to see my movies but some friends of mine dont.
Take a look at the Mplayer site , on the main menu selec "Other Media Projects" and the look for Windows Ports.
My friends never had problems again.

Hey u guys..
:)
cant u see that windows is sinking?
linux and mac are rising these days.
someday windows is gonna get without its game ports...
i think mac will allways be superior to linux in matter of desktop.
games for mac will came in a torrent.
and linux ports too
OR maybe a hardware failure..
maybe theyr hard drive has rotten couse they had spent to many years without changing it.
they are just diplomats they cant say what they think is preetier.
the programing jov will fall on macho programers hands.
