A good ACT score doesn't means she is a math genius nor that she needs to find a career that requires good math skills. Math is a prereq for life in general and pretty much all careers today require good logical and analytical skills that depends on strong math knowledge.
Having a good ACT math score should be the rule, not the exception. Unfortunately every day we see more and more stupid people out there. Being "normal" makes you "intelligent" and this is starting to become an exception. Look at the average number of books individuals read in the US per year and compare this with 25 years ago. You will be astonished.
As said by a theather owner a few comments above, by using digital projection the costs for the theather owner will be reduced. So, profits will increase.
From this point of view, changing from conventional to digital projection is more like an investment. Theather owner will pay to switch to digital projection and by keeping tickets at the same price (or maybe reducing the price a little) the investment will be paid within a few weeks and after that profits will be better.
For me it seems that theather owners in US are more lake bakery owners in Brazil. They are allways waiting for someone else to invest in their business.
Probably he means that, in the future, parts not approved by the quality control could be sold for users that doesn't use their computer too much. So, the probability of a malfuncion will be small enough to justify the high profits selling garbage.
