A corporation can, at most, ask the government to do something on its behalf, and perhaps offer some form of material incentive (i.e. a bribe). In every case, however, it's the government which actually violates your rights, not the corporation.

In England, the truth is considered an allowable defense, and it is, in fact, an affirmative defense because the statements are presumed false until proven true.
