    and so on...

    This would be a beowulf cluster which would generate a break down of the universe as we know.

    Huh, this Nestcape version will let user switch between Firefox and IE engine.
    So, if you are lucky, and you know when to switch, then you may have less problems.
    If you are not so lucky, then most likelly you will collect all the bad things of both engines.

    I can imagine some context menus:
    - Show this page in IE
    - Show this page in Firefox
    - I Feel lucky!

    They stopped them because of the slow datarate. Todays when a photo (even compressed) takes ~800 KBytes and an MP3 ~4 MBytes, would take a while to send it to the notebook using IrDA. 100Mbit (as advertised) would be enough for thoose applications. I think if such technology would be available at equivalent or even lower price than Bluetooth a lot of manufacturers would "buy it".

    I think thoose two technologies need to be used for different applications. For example I would prefer a fast Infrared Port to transfer data from mobile devices to a desktop instead of a Bloetooth or WiFi one. It is much secure and much straight forward. Just imagine that every PC monitor would have such optical trasnceiver incorporated and you would point your mobile device to it in order to transfer data. I think this method is much cheap and much environmental friendly.

    I had the meaning that some worms live in the Apples but it seems that they are just hanging on Windows.
    Some are considering this an advantage, since they have better visibility and are much easy to be catched.
    Other people are trying to get rid of tehm by dropping Apples and Penguins on thoose infested Windows.
    The Windows are becomming broken, eventually installed again and the story starts over and over...
    Pretty boring...

    I started on ZX Spectrum doing some machine-code games and hacking around the assembler. I was then working in a TV studio, programming interactive games. Later I join a game studio of a big company. In two years, after I saw the "inside story", being disapointed, I left that company and the game industry to join automotive industy. Nice try Guybrush!
