I think the question is, why sue Apple, HP blah blah blah when they are just posting what have been given to them. If you want to sue, shouldn't you sue Hitachi, Maxtor, Seagate, Western Digital ect. ect.
Sun also charges a zillion dollars for their product vs. only a billion for a Microsoft product.... I'd be hoping to get a nicer, better running OS for a zillion dollars.
Anyone else see an opportunity for socialism to actually work? The goverments produce the first bots that reproduce and form the governing organisations (so to speak) and then start taking on the work of the people and provide everything anyone needs/wants.
Then again, I am sure humans would just disrespect the bots. I am certain one of the animatrix stories worked on a similiar issue
You seem to be forgetting the VITAL point that Apple REFUSES to release a new version of Safari, and therefore the WebKit, if it is at ALL slower that the previous version. This is a definate fact that Apple hangs on to dearly and could be why there are still a few places that they need touching.
As per WWDC, sometimes coders kind of cheat by optimising another part of the code so that their new code does not slow down the browser but as long as the end result is that the new build runs at least as fast as the previous build, Apple will release it. If it is at all slower than the previous build, Apple refuses to let it out of the closet.
I just moved from being a Slashdot reader to someone with a username and password JUST so I could say exactly that.... turns out you more than easily beat me to it, though.
LOL
Mozilla is one of the last things I would want to be embedding into an application I write.
Most gamers would tell you "not enough"
It would give great bragging rights but you always have to worry that your mate will get something better next week.
Also, where do you put the neon lights?
Isn't music store available some time this month in Europe???
I thought Sony had the sole rights to this?
