No, Captian's Quarters is a US blog - the guy lives in Minnesota. Maybe Canada should invade Minnesota, get the guy, and then leave. Wait, I'm not sure Canada could invade the US . . . well, a surprise attack might work - we don't have anyone up there. And Minnesota wouldn't be a huge loss anyway.
On second thought, maybe we should just go for freedom of speech and be done with it. This report shows corruption at high government levels, and it may be a good thing, this openness. Might prevent the current government from calling a snap election and getting elected before people know what's happening.
I'm so confused . . . the Weekly Reader poll says Bush, the Redskins game says Kerry . . . who should I vote for? I don't know how this year's election will turn out after all!
I read Buzzmachine daily. One of the most balanced blogs out there - Jeff doesn't simply deride opposition, nor does he focus on the mudslinging of campaigns, as witnessed by his Issues 2004 series.
So . . . I guess that you couldn't DoS DOS? Interesting thesis . . . I think I'll write a research paper on the subject. Could you DDoS DOS? DoS DDOOSS? DDoS DDOS?
So, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck . . .
Heh - appreciate the sentiment. Being a Republican, I don't mind Democrats disagreeing with me. That's par for the course. The really weird fringe is what bothers me. Like these "hacktivists". If they knew what was good for them and their candidate, they would not go out and do something illegal.
Macs would make good gaming machines, so I disagree there.
As a fan of the Myst/Riven series of games, I can say why UbiSoft gets the majority of the blame. Cyan (developer of the game) wants to do a Mac version. Their CEO, Rand Miller, and their "official D'ni historian", Richard A Watson (known on the net as RAWA), both use Macs pretty much exclusively at home. So, currently, Cyan is producing a game that their CEO can't play. The main problem here is that UbiSoft isn't funding a Mac version. Since you have to pay your programmers, and it is hard to be an expert programmer on two different platforms, there is decent reason for one platform of support. I too am somewhat disappointed at the lack of Mac support, but if anyone is to blame here, it would be UbiSoft.

Probably when Apple/IBM can cool the G5 down enough for the PowerBooks. It took them a while with the G4. I would rather them do it right than have a PowerBook that melts within two months.
Some companies are pretty good about releasing for Mac and PC at the same time.
Blizzard, for example. They release a hybrid CD (remember those? They used to be everywhere!) for every game they publish. That's why WarCraft III is available for any Mac users now - and has been since release.
Hrmmm . . . well, on the front PAGE, it says its cheaper. However, you go to "Customize" the machine, and I got about $950. I could only seem to reduce it to $798. Which is closer to the Mac's specs. The only real differences were the hard drive space (much more on the Dell, but that looked like one of their "special offers"), and twice the amount of memory on the Mac. I got the slowest processor I could buy (which was still pretty darn fast). Doubling the memory on the Mac to match the Dell was only $50 . . . again, not that much more.
So I don't think Apples are THAT much more expensive. Now the COOL ones are, but they are fairly close to their PC cousins in everything except processor speed, which to me is not a huge deal, since we can't seem to keep our processors busy enough anyway.
Naww, I doubt Cuba has WMDs - last time that happened, we noticed and set off a crisis.
Umm . . . guys, April Fools was LAST month, OK?

If the computer locks you out, you can say the following. "This is Picard, voice override Delta-Sigma-three."
As a government employee, I'd love to see more Macs around here. This Windows stuff gets old after a while.

Yeah, or if it ever becomes 42.

Has anyone seen a G5 yet? Either at an Apple Store or in your mailbox? Just curious. *Will have to visit Towson Apple Store soon*
