So many mentioned putty but no one winscp? It's the best if you need scp/sftp on Windows.BTW, does someone know a good graphical opensource/freeware norton commander clone? (something like SpeedCommander/Total Commander but freeware)
Try to beat these. (you can even get Xeon SMP blades)
If you like them you will love blade servers. But of course no self respecting server would use 2,5" harddisks, not even in RAID 1 configuration.
>Are there any PCI cards on the market that are made just for this purpose? e.g. not a video card, but just a PCI card with DDR or DIMM banks and maybe a controller (not talking about those cpu/dimm pci machine on a card setups). Yes, there is a PCI Card that acts as an Solid State IDE Disk: http://www.cenatek.com/product_rocketdrive.cfm
Yes it is. If you have an X Display Manager (xdm, gdm, wdm, whatever) running you can use XDMCP to login.
Fans suck. Use something like this. This case has NO fans at all, it uses heatpipes and the case itself as an heatsink instead.
> I have never seen an open-source style game that didn't look like a pile of crap. What about Tuxracer? OpenGL does look nice if done right.
That guys must be paid by microsoft. Well, they actually work for MSNBC, so i wouldn't be suprised ...
