    This isn't an update its a down-grade of functionality Android handsets may stop getting upgrades but no one actively removes features from them

    Im a gnome user, but, tried 4.1 and it was the biggest crock. Nothing of interest except useless vista type eye candy. Lots of work required. I know Gnome is not perfect but at least i know how to make it work - its designed that way...

    I spent 2 years doing electronic crime analysis, and as all law enforcement, the pay and conditions suck. Lack of resourses and lack of understanding the requirements to constantly update skills/knowledge adn training (from the non-technical bean counters ) make life difficult. Add this to report writing and presenting evidence in court to clueless laywers and all in all you have a shit-house job. But on the plus side, chicks dug it !!

    Same here, after many problems I installed a linux/gnome deaktop with nothing more than email, internet, openoffice and spider solitaire (along with default games) and every one is happy (esp me)
