If the picture is all the University powers-that-be went on.. They deserved to be slammed for everything she can get out of them.. If there's more to the story, (and NOT fictional documentation by the school), then she's got another issue.

I still remember being laid up in a hospital and one of my roommates brought one by... The staff went nuts..
1) That's not a computer!
2) You can't plug that in here!
I overcame and killed several boring days writing floating point subroutines.. I just wish I had the printout of them, it's been lost in the moving box of time..
